Background...so about ready to order 5100's all four corners. Reason being lots of miles 170k on original shocks, mostly street driving with occasional sled roads.
90% of the time I have a cap(shell) on with approximately 400lbs of "stuff" inside. I also tow a boat(aluminum) and thinking small travel trailer(20') might be in my future.
Id like to keep some rake so thinking an add a leaf would be good for me. The ones I've been looking at add approximately 1.5 - 2 inches height.
Will the rear 5100's still be okay for the rear? (thinking they are only good for 1" of lift?)

They'll be fine. Rear 5100s are meant for 0-2 inches lift if I recall correctly. I highly recommend the wheelers off road progressive 3 leaf add a leaf. It's the best bang for your buck, comes with extended u bolts at no extra cost, and it'll ride much better than a single AAL.

    What year is your truck?

This is what I have to keep my truck level when pulling they really work good and I dont have to worry about airing up a bag .I think these would work good for you also .
