New member, but have owned several Yota's over the years ('06 Tacoma Prerunner CC, '06 Tundra Crew Cab 4wd, '10 Tundra CM SR5 4wd, '04 Tacoma 4wd CC, and now have '12 Sequoia Limited and '16 Tundra CM SR5 4wd).

Only mods so far is the ********* SQ1 install that I did in my old '10 CM and then installed it in my '16, had windows tinted, bed cover.

    Planned mods:
    1) Lift/level - still reading up on it
    2) possibly new headlights

That was at Lake Claiborne State Park. I usually go there or head north to Arkansas up to Lake Ouachita, Lake Hamilton, or Greers Ferry.

Worked my way thru 7 over the past several years before getting up to this level of a 2018 23 LSV. Sometimes I still wonder what I was thinking, my last 2010 did everything I really needed it to do! Owned a 1985 MC Stars and Stripes closed bow (still miss it), '94 MC Prostar 205, '97 Malibu Sunsetter LX, '01 Malibu Sunsetter LXi, '99 Malibu VLX, '01 Malibu Wakesetter VLX, '10 Malibu Wakesetter VLX, and now this one. Can't wait for summer! Bought the last weekend of October and put 10 hrs on it before winterizing it.

If it helps any, I can't afford gas for those go-fast boats! The ones around here have twin 350's or even some with 454's and scream by us while we are out surfing at 11.2 mph!

Thank ya sir! Like your screen name!

Been around towboats since my early teens. My first '85 MC was all I even considered as a purchase, die hard MC fanboy. The '94 205 was one of the best slalom hulls ever made! Then as the family grew, I wanted the wider beam Malibu had in the LX/LXi of that era. After those, it got to the point where I got more for my money with Malibu in the early years vdrive era. Now I just like the more classic lines of the Malibu's and even Supra more than the MC's and Nautique's. Would love a new G23, but these boat prices have gotten out of hand over the years! I used to drool over the old Sammy Duvall signature series and thought how $30-40's was expensive, now these things are 5-7× more!
