Billstein 5100s vs Fox 2.0

    TRD sway bar...addictive audio sub woofer.....Volant intake.....Black Rhino Glamis wheels....Billstein adjustable shocks
    Who has ran both of these set ups and can tell me the difference......in running 5100s all around but was wondering if it is an upgrade or worth going up to the Fox 2.0 or the 6112 with the 5160?

    The fox shocks or even 6112 are a significant upgrade over 5100s. The 5100s aren't much better than our OEM shocks IMO. They are adjustable height up front for a cheap easy lift but I dont really consider them performance shocks.

    I had 5100s on mt Tacoma and thought they were the biggest waste of money I spent on that truck, especially the fronts. They rode rough and I just never liked them. the rears were ok but I wouldn't use 5100s again other than a cheap way to replace OEM shocks, and I would not be using them anything but stock height

    Or be like me: Originally plan on 5100s, buy 6112/5160, then ay screw it and start looking at Fox 2.5 with DSC.... ;)

    What happens if rear shocks installed and top nut is way over torqued?
