Isn’t Oregon where the craft beer boom started?

I’m the same. I’m not a fan of IPA’s, BUT, being forced to try a couple good ones have opened my mind to trying them out every once in a while. First was Hoplar IPA from Crosstown Brewery in Memphis (not terribly hoppy and subdued IPA taste which was great) and I’ll post an IPA I’m planning on drinking later tonight.

Ive tried a couple from a few of my favorite breweries, with very sad and unexciting results. My wife and i went visit 1 of her cousins earlier this year and went Sierra Nevada and tried everything they had there. Ended up leaving with bomber bottles to ship home. None of which were IPAs.20181230_145312.jpg

    Gnarley Barley Brewery
Juicifer IPA New England Style IPA
    6%

Pours light with plenty of lacing

Subdued hoppy taste, although very apparent with hints of dragonfruit and a slight grapefruit taste

One of the very few IPA’s I like

    Wild Acre Southern Stout

Pours heavy, very thick. Coffee and chocolate smells, but drinks light and favors more of a milk stout. Complex profile but simple on the palate. Im going to kill this 6 pack very fast.

    Fixed the quote

It varies, but maybe once a month. Sometimes twice; it just depends on what they have going on, really.

I've had this one on draft at the brewery and the coconut is so much more prominent. Have you tried Oskars death by coconut? If coconut is what you're looking for that has it in abundance.

Cherry Pit of Misery | 10%

Pours dark amber with aromas of chocolate covered cherries. It’s a bit sweet, and certainly does not pour, or taste like 10%. So, if you want a creeper, that goes with sweetness- this one is for you.

Aromas of citrus and orange with a champagne taste. Definitely a great beer to start off 2019!

I’m not sure... but Oregon and the Pacific Northwest is certainly know for growing desirable hops. At first I was not a fan of the IPAs, but I’ve grown to love them now. Go figure?

They do grow on you somewhat. Still not a fan of super hoppy IPA’s, a blunted and subtle hop is more my cup of.....beer? LOL

I tried it when I was at Universal Orlando a couple years ago. I remember it being pretty decent. The giant donut paired well with the beer. :D

Lots of apricot flavor, very tasty. This 6 pack may be crushed tonight, it's that good.

My next run will be for a Imperial Stout made by 4 Noses. EL JEFE, coffee and cinnamon are some of the ingredients.

Dry dock apricot is a Colorado staple. Many have tried more have failed to even get anywhere near this. Great beer.

Goose island Bourbon county Stout. Huge bourbon notes here. Deep malty character with hints of chocolate and cinnamon.
