So I read a lot about Dirty Deeds BAmufflers. I want to know why they are so popular if it's basically just a piece of straight pipe? I understand he can make hemholtz to cancel drone, but from what I understand there no muffler, just a piece of straight pipe. So the 6" is a 6" piece of straight pipe, and 8" system is just 8" of straight pipe?

Would appreciate any insights to this.

    Thanks!

Straight pipe is the budget system and it sounds awsome. The 6” and 8” do have mufflers(small canisters)

To answer your question Why BAmufflers? Because you will grin every time you start your truck and smile every time you punch it.

Yes, it does have mufflers, if you want an exhaust with them.

    1. Keith is a good dude, you learn that when you call.
    2. He has done R&D on his exhaust to make sure you get all you can out of your truck with his products.
    3. It is all hand made, and you help support a small business.
    4. It is a direct system bolt on, no welder needed. It also requires no one else to install.
    5. Sounds extremely good.

Thanks for the clarification. What is the difference in sound between the two? Is it worth geting the full system w/ the muffler?

    1. Yes! I can't wait to talk to him once I get my truck.
    2. That's good to hear. I was set on getting TRD duals from Toyota, but i don't wanna lose any low end torque
    3. Small business > big corporation for sure. I usually go Magnaflow or Borla on my cars.
    4. Does it come with a tip included? All the youtube clips have a plain pipe, with no stainless tips. Does he have the dual tips that look like on the Corsa catback?
    5. I can't think of one person on this forum that has been disappointed with the sound. :)

His systems are designed to use the stock tail pipe. He does though sell his own tips, black BAM tips. He can do both single or dual or eliminate tail pipe all together and do dumps. He can and will make sure you are happy. If you arent happy he will gladly swap out your exhaust free of cost (equal or lesser value), minus the shipping charges.

Yea man I just received the 8 Inch system on Monday night and installed it Tuesday morning while also using his article to black out the rest of the tail pipe and I slapped on a Toyota OEM black chrome tip. First off, this system is AMAZING!! It is enough sound when you need it and not there when you do not want it. Everyday it is sounding like it is breaking in real good too. I have had Borla, Corsa, Flowmasters on past trucks and this one beats them all from a sound and performance standpoint. I did notice right away the low end torque felt stronger when I put it on. Mine took a while because it was the holidays but I can say that it was waaaaay worth the wait. As for the tip, the great thing is that you can use which ever you like because the stock tail pipe is used. Also like you said about no one being disappointed with the system, I too search for bad reviews just as much as good reviews. I found none which really surprised me because in this day and age, it's rare to see products that blow EVERYONE away. That was what led me to pull the trigger on this system. Below are some pics of my completed system before and after to show how you can make it look, hope this helps!

We have laws against straight pipes, but I’m wondering if they’d let the standard 8 fly in MA

There are 2 mufflers on the his 6,8,10,12" systems. Shouldn't be an issue. I will be selling my 6 this spring, hopefully locally (hint hint lol)

Which is better the straight pipe (budget) system of the 6-8" one? Is one just cheaper (budget)? If so what's the benefit of getting the regular catback?

Yeah it's a little too loud for me. Then again my 8 has been in my garage a few months. Not in a huge rush to change it.
I'd be willing to ship if I cant sell locally. I'll definitely save my box from the new system. I bet it would cost quite a bit to ship though

It is fine there. As long as it’s written ‘must have muffler’ Or something to that effect. The 8” system has two mufflers;)
