    HI guys, greetings from SoCal!
I recently got a white Tundra limited crewmax and here's my debate:
    - I really want to tow a toy hauler with a combined weight (toy hauler plus race car) of 10K lbs. I know I'm near the limit. But how much on the limit will I be at? I'll be going to events in my area, so the most I have to drive is about 150miles in mostly flat terrain.
    - I'm been pressured by the RV dealer to pay them $300-400 to a brake control wiring. I was under the impression that a new tundra comes with the brake controller ready to go, plug in the 9pin and you're all set. Right or wrong?

Also attaching a picture of my now ex-pick up truck, an 86 F150 that now has a new owner.
    Thank you all!

Lots of folks tow with their Tundras, you should get some answers soon. Did you try searching the topic?

If your a 4x4 Crewmax I think your max towing is 8800lbs, so at 10k your way over your limit. You might need to be looking into a 2500 series truck if that's the load you need to be pulling.

I tow a 30ft pull behind with mine with a golf cart in the bed alot in the summer. Total weight loaded is like 8400lbs. I kinda feel I'm pushing it with all that.up and down hills not the greatest but it works .Other then that flat roads easy. My camper is a ultra light @5500lbs dry so .

It's all good and fine until some idiot cuts you off or blows a tire and you have to swerve too avoid them. That's my .02 on overloaded truck trailer combo. I used to drive class b commercial

I know we all love Tundras here, but damn that is one mighty fine F150 brother! What I wouldn't give to get one in that condition into my garage!!

    RIP Big Red...my old F150!

Once you’re over 10,001 lbs. you’re considered commercial, somebody correct me if I’m wrong. Don’t go anywhere near your trucks maximum towing capacity, it’s scary, especially when you wanna stop and can’t.
