Rev tec 2.5 level lift, 18 “ Fuels, BAmuffler 8”
Hey everybody… New to the forum… And I apologize ahead of time but I could not find any threads asking this question… I have a 2015 tundra crew Max with a REVTEK 2.5 level left on it ( yes the pucks :)… I decided that I wish I would have went with a 3 inch lift up front... so I stopped by a local shop and spoke with some of the mechanics. They said that I could get an additional .5–1 inch more of lift if I add the adjustable Bilsteins up front...what do you guys think?
Keep in mind I am on a super tight budget ...And by the way this truck is just a “pavement Princess” no wheeling what so ever ...thnx !

Thanks !!! Great forum ...has saved me more
Than once ... One thing I forgot to mention is the reason I am considering the Billys rather than just replacing with a 3 inch puck… Is because I believe one of my shocks is failing… So just trying to kill two birds with one stone by going with the ”Billys”

Hello and welcome to the party!!

So we do not nor does Bilstein recommend stacking the ride height adjustable shocks and top mount spacers.

In my opinion, you should think about swapping out the front coilovers to a true system. We have a awesome cost effective front coilover option that is quite popular on here!

Take a look at this link and let me know your thoughts. -David

When I have some extra money I'm going to level mine with 5100's in the front on the middle setting.

Rev tec 2.5 level lift, 18 “ Fuels, BAmuffler 8”
Ok...more confused ...after doing some more reading, calling, etc.
I see toytec has a 4inch level lift...which I assume is ok being its sold by toytec.
The other option: 2.5 revtek level lift (already on truck) and then install adjustable Billsteins up front and adjust them to 1 inch ...totallying 3.5 lift of front end.
Why would that option not be ok...if a 4” toytec lift is ok??
Help me understand plz ...thnx guys

If you are on a budget I would recommend going with the bilstein 6112 for the front and 5160 for the rear if you want.. You can get them assembled, that way its an easy swap.

I also had the revtek 2.5 kit..your oem spring from all that compressing will eventually get tired..i replaced it with toytec/eibach it was set to 3" and 1" rear block..with the complete assembled and one coil no spacers definitely gives better ride..with revtek
