....So my right front side wheel bearings went, and (home) surgery is in the makings.

    Truck Profile: 2nd Gen, 5.7, 4WD, 126K miles, 6 inch Lift, 35's

Which one of the below is highly recommended?

    1. Replace bearings by Press-out (buddy charging a nominal price to press in)....bearings from a local store $50 each,

    or,

    2. buy a pair online for $320 that comes with full hub and bearings

Any help for thoughts as I want to buy today.

    thanks

Just my 2 cents, but I think the complete hub assembly is the easier way to go. Less disassembly, reassembly and down time. I guess it comes down to whether you have more time or money... I usually have more time :( lol. Either way, I would do both sides at the same time and be done with it.

Complete assembly is the route I would go.

i did this to my 4r and went with the assembled package - i liked the new wheel studs too...

also. i have a full size press but these are buggers to remove even with a press... buying the assembly made it a really quick job

Go complete assembly but buy dorman brand part number 950-002 they have them on ebay for $133 each look around you might find better deal. Dorman is decent quality that's what we use at my shop

My 2 pennies, buy Timken. They're typically more expensive but worth it.

Look what came today. And it’s the same item on eBay, same seller, but $150 less on Amazon

Well let’s see again.... Krill Oil haven’t kicked in yet! Ahemmmm.. cough. Cough..

    Item still on Amazon.

I purchased the full assembled wheel bearings hub, instead of the press on bearings.
And correct it’s a direct bolt / install / replacement. Passenger side wheel (35’s) were shot. Hope this help - hola!

Hey thanks so much just making sure my apologies. I bought a wheel bearing already to install and it was just a pain in the ass. I had to cut my losses but this seems perfect. I think I might go head and replace my ball joints and axles aswell. THANK YOU
