    Tim predicted the upset but it really wasn't an upset when you realize they lost to the SBMVP. Foles just beat our ass a couple weeks ago in week 15. Gave us our first home loss! :mad: Now they go back to the moldydome for revenge for the asswhoopin NO laid on em in week 11. :eek:

    Yep...and the crappy Broncos beat the Chargers in San Diego on Nov 18th....The Pats are a bit better(sarc) than the Broncos too...

    Tbh I wasn't looking forward to playing da Bears again. They lose on a double dinker?!? First the upright, then the crossbar?!?!?!!! What're the odds? o_O

    They are a road team. Even their home field is an away game. Only seats 27k and it seams away fans represent just as much if not more than charger fans at home.

    They have a good all around team that will be a big test for the Patriots. The Pats will be favored but I smell an upset. The Pats turn style offensive personnel is hit or miss. Rivers shouldn't be able to pass against our secondary very well. But if Gordon is ok, that run game could hurt us significantly.

    Yeah... good ole LA is correct...I had home game on my brain..my bag.. Crappy Broncos still won the game...Doesn't mean much now. It's the playoffs. I like Rivers. Not a Pats fan but my money is on Brady for the win.

    I agree with everything you posted Tim but one thing. I went went to the Oregon vs Texas 2000 Holiday Bowl. Qualcomm Stadium totally sucked way back then. I think any place to play football would be better than the pit the Chargers had to play in. Fan support could have been a lot better but the owners were a bit cheap... Chargers making the playoffs considering their situation is quite remarkable.

    That's on Spanos. Quial com may have sucked...but it still held more than the stadium they are in now. But that doesn't matter, seems based on location in SD with military base there, had fans from all teams show up. Never felt like true home field advantage. New place in LA doesn't seem as lopsided now, but still get great opposing fan base attendance.
