Plan to install bilstein 5100's up front - nothing in the back

    Going with an 18" x 8.5 wheel with a +15 mm offset

Looking to find out the largest size Discover STT I will be able to fit without any trimming

    Thanks in advance fellas!

Depends on which brand tire, what look (stuffed or proportional), you want to go. You want Cooper STT, I think the only sizes they run are 275/70 and 295/70. Not sure about 285/70 but you can look.

    On a 2.5 lift, I think 275/70's look perfect. I have a 3/1 and 275/70 toyo AT's they look great, but just a hair small. On a 2.5 they'd look perfect IMO

Thanks man - yeah I'm kind of in between the STT, Toyos or possibly the new Ridge Grapplers. I want an aggressive looking tire but I dont do any off-roading.

I'm happy with my toyo At's they look aggressive enough for me while still retaining both on road durability, noise, and does pretty well off-road also!
I do like the RT's. Those or the Duratracs will be my next ones I think.

Forget R/T, M/Ts, go for the Cooper S/T Maxx hybrids, a great tire and you can save some $ on a tire better than what Nitto/Toyo offers, IMHO and soon to be copied by them (like Nitto's wanna be S/Ts....... Ridge sucklers:[IMG]

Kind of a KO knock off. Figures:[IMG]

Good to know! I've been seeing lots of trucks around me lately that have tires poking way out past the fender (2"-4") and It bugs the hell out of me. Seems to be mostly on F-250/350's though. I'd be pissed if I dropped a grand on wheels and they looked like that haha.

I hear you. I prefer flush to 1" any more and you're asking for a paint job. Too much debris and crap would ding and scratch up your ride!

It would stick out some (I believe about half an inch to an inch) but not extremely. Gives it a nice aggressive stance without it looking ridiculous.

Totally forgot my uncle bought a tire shop locally haha. Contacted him today and he can get me the Discover STT Pro's for $197 each (thats almost $100 less than discounttiredirect.com which was the cheapest place I could find them online). I want to pull the trigger while they're on sale. Any chance I can run these with the 5100's on the stock wheel until I can get the funds together for new wheels? These should definitely fit, right? Minor trimming isn't terrible...
