Very cool seeing everything mounted! I have the same 10" height rack from Voodoo.

Hey, @cantle: I know you didn't ask me but, as I don't yet see answers, I'll chime in (because I had all the same questions when I was researching, and needed this same info). To make it easier on myself, I'm gonna answer inside your own quote (open it up, below):

Hey, @pdiddy, your setup is badass! I saw your water containers are locked. Was there attachment points for those padlocks on the mounts that came with the containers, or...? Please let us know how you attached the locks.

I'm hoping to fit my Waterports in my 1st gen somehow, while using a Bedslide, but I'm pretty sure they won't both fit.

    Thank for the info!

Awesome man, thank you for the insight!

I was leaning towards the 10", and this pretty much sold me. I plan on running 4 1up bike racks on it (no RTT), and cargo underneath. I also have a spray in liner with rubber mat, so this should be a good set up.

Now I'm just torn on the KB rack or a Diamondback cover!

Honestly though, the KB Rack with bedslide seems pretty slick set-up.

One more for ya... did you need to drill the bed for the install, or is it possible to use the factory bed bolts? I saw on a video installing on a F150 they used the bed bolts, and not the expanding nuts. I'd prefer to do that vs just starting to knock a bunch of holes in in my bed.

Shit, I'd be motivated enough to spin some CAD up for a bracket system if one doesn't exist.... just sayin'

    Hey Sunnier,

All valid points couldn't be happier with my voodoo. Here is the link on Amazon for the risk racing containers. If you purchase with the floor mount there is a lock point for pad lock, you just need to buy the pad locks. Get 3 metal screws and drill to your truck bed and done. The containers are meant for fuel but you can use for water or your intended use.

    cantle,

I just used 3 sheet metal screws and drilled into my bed. I didn't see any factory bed bolts when I installed mine. The method I used is very sturdy used with some lock washers.

I think I'll be going the Voodoo set up as well, just deciding between the hi rise bars, or the full rack (in aluminum).

    thanks guys!

For my money, it was the DECKED system hands-down. Besides the obvious extra storage, the flat top of the DECKED platform provided a better place to sleep that wasn't in between the wheel wells (considering it sits above the wheel wells).

It's hard to tell in those pictures but the A.R.E. walk-in door shell bulges outward at the bottom. Where your feet would normally meet the inside of the tailgate (if you were sleeping with your head near the cab), there's actually about 5-6 inches of space, so it accommodates me at 6' tall.

This is what I'm trying to find out as well. I'd love to put a slide on top of the Decked system then cap it all off.

Replying to your PM as well :)

    CargoGlide has a specific set of SKU's that work w DECKED> https://decked.com/tools/faq/#!is-decked-compatible-with-cargoglide-1

CargoGlide SKU’s believed compatible with the DECKED system:
    5 1/2’ DECKED Systems take CargoGlide CG1000-DM6348
    6 1/2’ DECKED Systems take CargoGlide CG1000-DM7348

Click here for DECKED SLIDE INSTALLATION BEST PRACTICES - FULL-SIZE TRUCKS

*It is important to note that we are separate companies and not responsible for integration and harmony with other products. Please contact CargoGlide directly for confirmation on product compatibility, specs and model numbers.

I believe the Bedslide has a mounting system that is fairly universal and will be compatible with the DECKED system. We'd recommend checking with Bedslide directly to confirm mounting and possible compatibility. Don't have a list of sku's like the CargoGlide

Both these setups are sweet looking to add one I sode my topper shell. I'm just worried that the decked system seems tall and you lose some vertical and horizontal space.

Does anyone wish they had a full 100% extension or does the Bedslide 3/4 extension do just fine?
