We watched it after family members said how good it was. I didn't care for it. The story felt incomplete and too all over the place. Def could've been executed better. Pulp fiction I loved and can rewatch. Bird box not so much.

Definitely need to watch several times to catch everything. Same with Kill Bill movies.

Everyone’s talking about the “underlying message”
Honestly, all the ones people have tried to pitch to me fail when put under scrutiny.
A bad movie is a bad movie no matter what the message is LOL

Can't wait for the new one to come out (called Glass) on 1/18. Split was good also. These three movies are tied together.

We watched several movies back to back to back. First off was Bird Box ~ then The Intern ~ then The Mule.
We enjoyed The Intern and The Mule ~ Bird Box not so much. But hey, the price was right ~ someone else had it streamed into their home and we watched it with them.
The beer and snacks they provided were really the best part of the viewing ~ and of course, yakking with the folks that had invited us.

Doc and I loved the intern. Very good movie/story.

I need to catch the Mule! Anything with Eastwood in it is probably a solid movie!

I mentioned seeing and liking The Mule and recommended it to the neighbors. Julie says, "Jack might like it." I replied, "I think you'll like it, too."
Jack likes dark content in his entertainment choices ~ the rest of us, not so much. I believe Julie is thinking The Mule and No Country are similar but nothing could be further from the truth . . .
