Pops, what brand steps are those? I like them.

 

What offset are your wheels?

 

What affect on mpgs after the leveling?

I like my wheels. I like my tires. I rarely go off-road, and never rock climb (that’s what my Jeep is for).
I usually decide very quickly how I’m going to mod my truck, but I can’t decide whether to level, lift, or leave it...plus the rake isn’t as noticeable as some trucks I’ve seen.
Another factor is that I’ll be towing the boat often and that should drop the back to make it more level anyway, right?
I’ve had the truck almost a month, and I just can’t decide.

Rough Country 3/1 with 20 x 9 and 275 55 20s. Will be going to a 285 60 20 when these wear down.

I tow my boat all the time and have noticed 0 difference in its pulling capability.

Also yes, you must be very new to all of this. People level all types of different brands of SUV’s and trucks. Tahoe’s, F150’s, 4runners, you name it.

 

I'm pretty sure they are 285/70r18 with +18 offset. I would walk outside and check, but I'm 6,000 miles away from my truck currently. However I did a LOT or research before pulling the trigger, and it paid off! Overall the truck size went from "meh" to "woah thats a beast"

 

Try removing the front mud flaps I removed mine and I have 275/65/R20 Nittos Terra Grappler on my 2018 Tundra double cab stock no lift or leaveling yet and I have no running issues since removing them

I'm currently about to pull the trigger on a front level.

For those that went with 6112 from TRD OR (yellow billsteins), how is the ride like? Most I read, people say its "better" but never got much info on what that means. Is it more plush? More firm? Just trying to get a gauge on what I should be expecting. Last thing I want is do a slight level 1.3" and end up making my ride harsh. Thanks guys.

I don’t want to harsh your mellow, but I’ve had the 6112s on for about a month and they are stiffer. Mine are set to 1.3” and I love the way they make the truck ride. They might soften up in time, but right now they have added a noticeable performance upgrade. It holds and rides out corners like a coupe. And upgrading my suspension for the first time this winter, having driven Tundras for the last 18 years, my only regret is not doing it sooner. If you are into plush, I wouldn’t go the 6112.

I guess the cheapest way to find out if you should get them is to get a rear sway bar. If you like how that feels then it’s more of the same. Seems to tighten it up.

Thanks for your input. I do have the rear bar and can't imagine being without it. It did stiffen the rear a little but the stability in turns is more than fair of a trade off.

From the few accounts I've read on the 6112, like you they mentioned it being firm but in a good way. You're the first person who broke it down more. Appreciate it.

Not going for plush per say but just want to make sure I'm not going to get a jarring ride either. I guess my next step is figuring out if the type of firmer you described is what Im looking for as well.

Got the O.Z.'s via my dealer and they beat the TireRack price. Was about $2k for the wheel set. I'd have to add up the lift, wheels, tires, spacers and more for a real total.
