Who's running aftermarket skid plates here? I'm needing to get a set before our Moab trip in April.

I know Budbuilt has them, but they are hella $$$$ (which I dont mind if that is my only option).
I know RCI Metalworks has them in prototype phase, but nothing released as of yet.

Are their any options out there to tie into the stock TRD Pro aluminum skid?

    Thanks,
    MWO

Budbuilt is only aftermarket skid I've seen to date. And TRD PRO skids are about $400 which is a mod I'd like to make to my own truck soon.

The TRD skid plate is a lot beefier than the factory tin can they put on. Bonus oil change port, as well. I highly recommend it.

You are being too kind on the factory tin skid. It's more like a dust plate. I definitely need to lose it ASAP. I'm waiting for RCI to come out with their skid offering. They are local, so I'll wait. @Sean266 has more info on when RCI may have skids available. I'm thinking Sean is going to be testing them out at some point. Hopefully sooner than later.

Ya I need to follow up on that next week with them. I know they were pretty slammed with orders so mine was on the backburner for them, but I know was being built to finals specs

RCI has them listed and priced with steel and aluminum options. I have to confirm there is no conflicts with my SDHQ slider mounts first or I would already have ordered one.

We just got back our first batch of powdercoated steel skids, and we should hopefully have the first batch of aluminum parts back this week. The skids are completely in production and ready to roll, at this point we are just working on the nitty gritty details like installation instructions and packaging for the new products. That said, If anyone needs to get an order in we can definitely make it happen!

Looking for a skid plate for the 38 gallon tank which I hear will be available soon. On a related note, why doesn't the skid on my 2016 pro have an oil change port?
