Has anyone added this to their tundra?

I like the idea, and watching the install videos looks easy, I just don't like the "expose the door lock wires and tap into them". I would much rather have something that looks more factory. Preferably a harness to tap the wires with, or at least know what open pins in an existing harness I can use to trigger the lock.

Make sure you research the wire color and routing for your year truck. The included instructions aren't correct alot of the time. I found 2018 instructions on YouTube and it worked great.

One of my favorite mods. Wish i would have done it right when I got the truck. 80 is the best price you're going to get on Amazon. It jumps between 80 an 104 quite a bit lately, so jump on that 80 price. Camelcamelcamel will also track price for you on Amazon.

You can buy the universal kit for around $10 and it serves the same purpose and works well.

I'll get ripped for it, but I sure do like the bracket with that kit. Makes it super easy and is very stout. By all means I like fabbing stuff (just hooked up Ridgid fogs with the OEM trim), but int his case, I just wanted to install and be done. The kit served this purpose perfextly

Agree with you on that one. Its a nice CNC bent stainless bracket that you know won't come out of alignment. And the actuator harness had nice compact vulcanized insulation instead of loose bulky split loom. At 80 bucks I think it's worth it.

Do it. Install is easy and the practicality of it is priceless.

This place has a plug n play adapter. They also have a harness to relocate your rear sliding window switch.

Adapter isn't worth $40. It's just 2 wires. Plenty of YouTube videos that show which bottom 2 wires to tap into using a simple scotch lock. No issues with my pop and lock at all and has been a great addition being able to get i to my tailgate without having to shut off my truck and take the keys out to unlock it

I agree $40 is pricey but I’m sure it’s peace of mind for some folks.
