That’s true. Have you checked out the console vaults? I would personally get an under seat vault with an anchor line.

If I remember correctly, it’s easy to take the console vault out (although unlikely since thieves like quick in and quick out) BUT problem with consoles....that’s the first place thieves look, whereas, thieves would need bolt cutters to cut the anchor line (again, unlikely they would have some on hand) and from my understanding, they rarely look under the seat due to “time constraints”.

    Just my .02

P.S. it IS more convenient to pop open the console and slide your gun in than it is to get out, reach under your seat, etc.....pros and cons for both LOL

True. However, not sure if you've seen these. They are steel and lock. The trick is to get it mounted solidly.
It has steel brackets and was designed for a steel cop car console mounting, where you can bolt it tight to it.
Even if they can tear it loose, they won't get it open.
I would only use it somewhere that I couldn't carry inside, so it would be best out of sight. Otherwise the magnet is great while you are present.

Sorry, just noticed your username, so you may have seen these.
I have not taken any time to research the vaults or anything else for this truck yet, aside from the front bumper.

LOL, they run $149-159, but can be found on sale occasionally for closer to $100.

Not terrible. A steal, especially when it comes to safeguarding a $600+ pistol.

Law’s actually my name. No correlation to law enforcement/military, although I would’ve loved to have served or gone into public service (Uncle is a just retired Master Chief for BR fire depts)

Thank you for your service (Fire/EMS) btw!

    Understood, and thanks.
So here is pics of it loaded. Had to put my Kimber in it, as Glock with Viridian light/laser, and XDM with Streamlight wouldn't fit width wise.
You can adjust the length for barrel lengths, but not the width. The internals have rubber padding.

Dude, that’s amazing! It sells itself!
Sucks about the XDM with Streamlight though, but whatcha gonna do?

Man, you’ll find around here, we don’t mind hijacking threads or just shooting the shit when it comes to (and in no specific order)
    1. Women
    2. Funny shit
    3. Yotas (of course)
    4. Beer/whiskey
    5. Off-roading
    6. Guns (of all kinds)
    7. Builds (gun or truck)
    8. Mods (just don’t ask what size tire/offset you can fit on a level or stock tundra LOL)
    9. Music
    10. Anything that tickles your fancy

Honestly, we have some solid guys/gals up in here. This is the only forum I’m a member of and rarely get on FB/Instagram/social media, but can find me on here almost daily. Can’t tell you how many times someone’s had a problem on here and nearby tundras.com members dropped whatever they were doing to go help him/her. It’s absolutely a family/community here.

Prerequisite is - you should have thick skin and a sense of humor. Shouldn’t be a problem for you, I know what goes down in fire stations LOL

Awesome, sounds great. We used to have hot rod forums like this. But they seemed to have died off.
I HATE Facebook! But still get on it at times. Thanks for the info and replies. Be safe out there.

Yeah, forums like this are few and far in between, sad but true.

Today got both lightbars mounted. Had the 2nd one laying around and wanted it because it does amber also.
Can run both at once but won't. Just choosing amber or white.
Mounting locations are less than optimal. My last bumper the big one fit between the bumper and grill bar.
This one didn't fit anywhere, but the light output is fine.
About to head into snow country for a bit and just prepping for the ride.
May remove the amber one when I get back. Not thrilled with the look.
