The rear heaters ($50 shipped) arrived a day early!!

The wiring isn’t as well done, but it is prewired with relay and harnesses.
I opted for dual simple switches to install in the back of the console between the rear vents and the 12v plug.

The rears will only have off/low/high.
    Rear middle gets nothing.

While you have your center cover off and your wiring tools handy, it’s a great time to hook up your power socket to 12v constant so it will be on all the time!

    Rear passenger...
    Unbolts with 17mm
You don’t HAVE to take it apart, but it will make things easier. 13mm and t40 to separate back from seat. T20to take off side covers.

Heaters go on just like the fronts.

Rear armrest comes out easily. Three nuts. 10mm. The bolts that hold the armrest to the bracket, however, made me want to burn the armrest. Lol. One was very difficult to get out, and the other stripped out and destroyed my diamond tip torx bit. I tried with pliers until my hands ached and it wouldn’t budge anyway. Tomorrow I will attempt to cut the (approx 1” diameter) round bolt head into a hex head so I can get it out and finish. Darkness halted my progress as it often does.

Where are you getting power for the back seat heaters from?

They will be tied into the same power as the front. The wires that go from the switches in the console to the rear seats will run under the carpet along each side of the hump. They are small and will barely be noticeable...and completely invisible once I install all-weather mats.

Had to extend the wires a bit to reach back far enough to be hidden, but I’m pleased with the result. C3668E03-B53C-41C2-9FD6-EA8CBE00B0D7.jpg
I really need to clean the seat frames. I can tell the previous owner had their kids back here often. Crumbs and sticky stuff everywhere!

I called Katzkins today and they won’t sell me just the leather seats without installation. They require me to use a local approved installer inlt and it was $1500 dollars installed.

I’m willing to add leather for no more then $1,000 if they are going to require me to have it installed.

    What do you guys think?

If you don’t want to install it yourself like I have shown here, check with different shops for install cost only and then buy the katzkins and take them to the installer if it’s cheaper.
If you want specialty seats, they will be harder to find and you may be stuck special ordering for higher cost.

No, they come up about once a month, usually towards the end of the month. You usually have to order through the app. Sometimes it’s 10%, sometimes it’s 15%, they just tell you the promo code and you enter it during checkout.

Looks good...yeah, rear seat heater installations are a lot more difficult. Luckily the Tundra has that spot to put the switches though. That is often the biggest challenge with rear seats. First time I have seen that other type of seat heater switch. That is cool!

I placed my order yesterday, got the leather kit for about $250 thanks to the 15% off coupon and some gift cards I had laying around.

Question for OP: @AlmightyCrash im planning on doing the wiring for the heated seats my self but I’m planning on letting a shop install the leather. I read through all your posts and I don’t see where you connected each wire. Would you mind telling me where each one of the 4 wires was tied into?
