I have been offered $10,00 trade in for it . Books for $13,300 I believe . This is my home shop not a carlot or anything . The spot on the floor is not from the truck , it leaks nothing .

I put new Bilstiens on it and all new idler pulleys as one was squeaking .

    Puzzled ?

No clue. Looks good. Maybe because it's 2WD and V6. Might not be as saught after as a 4x4 or a V8 would be.

Maybe list out more about no leaks. Maintenance history. Last maintenance checkup. Any upgrades or addons you have done. Post the blue book value and that you are asking for less for a "quick sale". List "clean title" and "in hand".

Try other outlets besides craigslist and the forums. Forums are hard to sell trucks.

Don't think there are alot of people in OK that like Durant ... J/K.

All kidding aside, seems like a nice truck. Are you getting a lot a looks in person? I'm sure someone will come see it and appreciate it for what it is and make an offer.

The only thing that jumps out at me is the fact that it a V6 which don't have as high a resale value as does a V8. Your price doesn't seem out of whack. That said, a car is not worth what you think it is. Rather it is worth what a willing buyer thinks it is.

My guess is you are fighting a combination of factors which include geography, 2WD, V6.

10 years old, a V6, and 90,000 miles would make me think twice. You specifically mention the towing package and oil coolers, I'd be afraid it had been used for heavy towing. List how it's been driven (highway, in town, no towing, only by a little old lady on Sunday), along with maintenance and mileage. The V6 might work in your favor if the mileage is good. Get some better pictures of the bed, bed liner, and toolbox. I almost missed that it had a toolbox. Last, there are a couple of car shows coming up near Durant. Put a for sale sign in the window and go to the show. You never know who'll see the sign in the parking lot and ask questions.

also get some better pictures, outdoors with less glare and without a big leak spot underneath. And move the front seats up a little so it looks like there's more legroom in the back. And you have to mention how great it runs and how it never has any problems. "Runs like a champ" always gets me. Last, plastidip the wheels black... the truck will look 5 years younger.

Good advice, but I disagree on the plastidip. Leave it stock so the buyer doesn't think you're hiding something.

You need much better pictures. No puddle under truck. Close up of seats without damage, etc. I would pull the tool box out and take a picture of the bed (show how big it is). You can offer the tool box to the buyer or sell it on craigslist. Skip the tow package line. List all the stupid features like PW PL CD etc to make it sound "loaded". Does it get good gas mileage for a truck? talk about it. AC freeze you out? its summer time tell them. Try your local sportsman pages.

That is certainly a clean ride and it will definitely sell. With that said, drop the price 10% and be patient. Best of luck!

Maybe elaborate on what the TSS package gets you. I've never heard of it before and I'm guessing I'm not alone..

How long have you had it listed? Price seems about right although I am not up on Tundras of those years. Be patient....it only takes one person to buy it.

LOL , I took the tool box out already and gave it to my SIL. Fellas I talked to several times was on his way with the money and didn't want it so I took It out . Aint seen or heard from him since . LOL . Things happen , and I understand that .

I will do it all over again with pics outside and talk it up as to features . I did put the factory side steps or bars back on too . All they do is get your pants dirty seems to me . LOL

    Thanks for the help .

From my point of view, it all looks good. It's clean, stock, without a gazillion miles as these trucks often accumulate. I think it's a steal of a deal. I would, get rid of the pic with the puddle in it, other than that try to be patient, it only takes one serious buyer that's been looking at piles of sh!t. They will love your truck. Good luck, Chunk.

Definitely redo the pictures. If I saw the truck advertised with the toolbox, and it was gone when I arrived, I'd walk away. I consistently use a toolbox and the missing box instantly adds $300 to the price. Adding the steps is also a plus. I need the steps and not seeing them in the picture also adds to the price. Adding and removing parts of the truck shuffles the value. Get it to a stable state, redo the pictures outside in good light, and repost the listing.

Personally I wouldnt buy it for the fact it's a V6 and 2wd. I know not everyone has the same needs as I do but for me those things are a deal breaker. I'd buy a full size truck for hauling/towing and the V6 instantly hurts that and drops it down into Tacoma capability just with additional room.
I do agree with a lot of the tactics the other guys are recommending as well.

As an old friend used to say, "Whatever blows your skirt up." I wouldn't buy a 4WD, too many extra moving parts that I'll never use. As for the V6, a lttle extra gas mileage goes a long way these days. If you not doing heavy towing, a V6 would serve just fine.

Why don't you drive that truck down to your local Toyota Dealer. Pay for a full "documented" inspection. They will (or should ) tell you it's true worth for private sale locally, the dealer trade in value, and the dealer retail sale price. 90K miles is nothing for a clean truck like yours. A lot of folks do not want a 4 wheel drive and may prefer a V-6 over a V-8. By the way, take some pics of your truck at a park, the country side, beach,etc................ not in a oil stained driveway. Just sayin............... (pic with Hooter chiks in the bed wouldn't hurt)

But the v6 will lack in power and he'll need the extra power (fuel) to get up to speed and maintain speed. ;)

LOL , nothing wrong with the 4.0 as far as power goes In my opinion .

Pics are added to first listing . I don't know how to do it myself so I asked the guy who posted it for me to change the pics but he just added a couple .

It should be plenty I would think but It seems not . I did have a tire kicker yesterday , test drove it with me . Than went to trying the backseat , and told me he had a 22' boat and needed room for fishing buddies in the cab too . ? LOL . Yep , people are great !

I lowered it to 11K . Just want this over with sooner the better , take my hickie and move along . Still on the fence about a new Taco or another Tundra .THIS is wearing me out . My retirement truck and I cant afford to do it wrong , get one shot at it . I will have it until the big dirt nap .

Thanks again for the help guys , and my venting some .

I have sold on auto trader, put out a couple bucks and broaden the horizon. Word of mouth too and its a great truck for high schoolers whose parents dont want v-8's and sports cars. Seek out teen parents you may know.
