2018 grill options?

not too bad. you'll need a flat head and patience.

 

Expect to break at least a tab or two when removing the surround. Just take your time and be patient pulling it away from the grill insert.

 

I have a 2017 TRD Pro grill insert and Jomax relocation kit that I'm willing to sell if anybody is interested. Had it installed for a couple weeks, but decided to go back to the Limited grill with color matched surround.

 

Id be interested in the TRD PRO Grill insert

Hey back again with the rig finished. Replaced the chrome Limited grill with a charcoal painted Platinum grill and chrome bumper ends with the black plastic ones. Shop color matched the surround ends and hood bulge cement. Blacked out the handles and emblems earlier. Wasn't trying to make it a TRD Pro wanna be but rather just wanted get rid of the weird mismatch they do with chrome and body color

 

New to the Tundra community. Just picked up a brand new 2018 Limited in Quicksand a couple of weeks ago. Really want to swap the chrome grill for the black honeycomb from the SR5. Anyone interested? Thanks

If anyone is interested I have One of those grille inserts off 19Tundra for sale. I’m thinking it will sale pretty quick also I’m sure if someone was to get it painted and blacked it out would look good.

Looks very nice! Been eying your pics for awhile now. I am very close to doing that color match set up on my white limited, but I can't find an example in white. Anyone do the same thing as you, but white??

Looking at the TRD PRO grill as an option right now.

 

I’d buy the honeycomb part. Mine just got a hole punched in it from road debris.

 

From where you bought it and how much it cost? And does it include sensor location kit

 

Has anyone put a 2019 trd pro grill on a 2018 yet? Looking for confirmation that the sensor isn’t an issue..

 

I bought it from 300 industries. I paid extra because I'm the only one w the masonic symbol on a tundra and they had to design the sensor plate. But depending on what style you want they range from 300 on up. I did have to put a tiny spacer on the bottom bolts because wo it it will throw off the sensor and cause a code.

 

Which grill is this I want to get rid of my chrome and a think I prefer this over the trd pro.

 

It's just the Sport/Platinum grill. You need the grill surround and the hood front molding, and can either find factory color matched or get a base color and get it painted at a shop.

 

Anyone have some experience with the Trex grill products? Thanks

 

This is what I want to do.

 

I would buy the surround if it is painted and clips are not busted, of course I would have to have it color matched. So you could have have the grill. Any word on how much it is?
