Yeah... yeah..... I know what you're saying. Just not ready to live that no swaybar lifestyle yet... I gotta try these out before I can commit.

Also, I just bolted the swaybar that I thought was tight(thanks to my buddy who helped), definitely wasn't. Seems like i have gained the room I needed now.

read what Total Chaos has to say here:

    https://www.instagram.com/p/BlqZmpdgq0c/

perhaps it's just marketing, but Total Chaos doesn't strike me as a company that would make a more expensive long travel LCA with the option of a front sway bar if there wasn't a potential benefit...such as the one they stated in their IG post above.

Trophy trucks run away bars because they’re not looking for high articulation and are looking for flatness through corners.

It all depends on how you want to use your truck. I like crawling and going fast. I’ll never reach trophy truck speeds, so I don’t need a sway bar. I do need articulation on obstacles.

Here's a quote from that Total Chaos IG post:

"Adding the Sway-Bar-System gave the Tundra much better on and off road handling without sacrificing wheel travel or articulation."

Are they inaccurate when they say their system doesn't sacrifice wheel travel or articulation? It seems like if that weren't true they just wouldn't say anything about it. Thoughts?

    Kings F&R, no sway bars
Got Kings but 2.5’s all around, ditched the sway bar even cussed at it, that was 30k miles ago. Rides better, no handcuffs for the kings, if you like sway bars so be it, it’s a different truck without it and I love it.

The LT kit leverages the sway bar differently, so it will allow it twist the factory sway bar more.

Trophy Trucks are running 4 link suspension with spooled rear ends, the rear end is always trying to keep the wheel base square which induces more body roll, the suspension design itself also has more body roll. The sway bars on a TT are completely different, have much longer leverage arms, and are tuned to give the driver the feel and performance he is looking for.

A sway bar will always take away from a vehicles ability to independently articulate, the spring rate of the sway bar will decide how much it does so.

For strictly go fast off road stuff, a light sway bar can be a benefit for vehicle stability. For 90% of the use most midtravel guys see, there is benefits to removing the sway bar for offroad use. When going slow speeds, the sway is trying to keep the arms parallel, so over the smaller off camber bumps, its what makes the truck rock back and forth so much giving you a crappy feeling inside the cab.

After doing some more testing we did find the sway bar does slightly reduce the wheel travel. It's a minor compromise for the major increase in vehicle stability as well as the performance at higher speeds. It comes down to personal preference and kit application on whether or not the swaybar is necessary

You all would laugh at my linked crawler on the trailer in long sweeping corners. Jeep will flex nicely...

I would like to run a sway bar again on my rear again especially when I drop the V-8. Then I will actually be able to get up to a decent speed.

Sway bar for IFS depends a lot on spring rate. I used to have major body roll but I dealt with it because I loved the articulation I was getting on the trail.

Then I switched to stiffer coils and 3" wide leaf packs and now the body roll is very minimal. It corners so well now. Articulation suffered a little, but its very even front to rear so I don't notice it on cross axle situations

On a tundra, whether MT or LT, I can't see any use for a sway bar unless its a street queen. And I get it, a lot of trucks are street queens. But I absolutely hate the way sway bars affect the ride on the dirt.

I have the King OEM mid-travel 3.0's and adjusters. I removed the sway bar because it was hitting the bottom of the shocks and since then I added 5 clicks to the front adjusters and now she rides sweet with almost no body roll, Easy Peasy!

I got these King 3.0 Front Coilovers and rear 3.0 bypass shocks. It rides like dream compare to my old OME light setup. But the front tires rubs on the resi hoses when tires are turned all the way left or right. It already ripped off the rubber surface on the hoses. the rear have no problem so far. no rub or anything. Just front tires rub and doesn't seem like i can fix it unless I i get a new set of lower offset wheels (or wheel spacers which i don't want)

    I am currently running Method313 wheels (17x8.5 +25) with 35x12.5 KO2s

Try flipping the resi’s around so the adjuster knob is towards the front of the truck. That should pull the hose up out of the way.
