It was quite the project but luckily my brother was able to lend a hand and keep me out of trouble. I decided to use the middle setting up front.

Big thanks to offshore2005 for his insight while planning this project.

I’m extremly happy with the way she turned out...the ride is awesome.

Here she is after a wash this morning...

Did you lift the back end at all or just replace the shocks? What size tires are you running?

I finally have my wife on board with letting me get a lift and I want to keep it mild. Was thinking of either going with 5100's front and rear or going with 6112's in the front and 5160's in the rear but not quite sure yet.

No lift on the rear...just new 5100’s.
Tires are 275/55/20. A little on the small side. I want to upsize them when these wear out...probably to 295/55/20.

For street and light offroad...this setup is perfect for my needs.

I have toyo RT 295/55/20 on mine, but wish I had gone a little taller. I think 285 width and 34-35" tall would be just right.

I did the same lift, 5100's on all 4 corners, 2nd setting in front with a single CB shim on both fronts. I sit at exactly 38 1/4 inches high in front. I am thinking 275/65r20 tires. That's a 34.1 inch tire. Otherwise gonna do 275/60r20 which is a 33" tire. How she sits now with stock 275/55R20 tires that are pretty worn.

Awesome. I did the same 5100s on all 4. Also set mine at mid setting and couldn’t be happier.

How would you compare the ride to stock? Trying to decide if I wanna do the same.

    Better than stock...much better.

Stiffer in the front but in a really good way. I have several R.R. crossings in my area and I could tell immediatly when crossing them.

The ride in the front is stiffer (corners better) and the 5100’s absorb the bumps better than stock.

    Best mod I have done.

If you were local I could help out. This mod definitly requires another set of hands.

I am a Clemson grad. I envy you...Easley is so beautiful.

Looks great! Those fender flares make it look better as well! Did you remove the mud flaps as well?

    Thanks!

Yes, I removed the mud flaps, as the way the flares are molded they deflect enough dirt and debris to protect the doors/panels.

Any reason you did these over the 6112? Did you do a diff drop or no?

Just read a lot of positive reviews about the 5100’s and I found all four of them for $290 delivered on ebay during one of their 15% off sales.

No diff drop. As I undersrand it...it’s not necessary on the middle setting.
