Owner of 2016 TRD PRO. Want to add +2 coachbuilder shackles but have read that I may have a problem putting my spare in. I plan to have 295/70/18’s eventually. So I then looked at toytec because they are smaller but on the website it says I will have problems with install due to the TRD exhaust that comes with my PRO. Now from my understanding this would come into play if I was in full droop, so if the truck were lifted or major off-roading. Now I don’t really off-road much but there is this road here in Washington which leads to a lake near mt rainier and there are nothing but huge pot holes for miles. I’m not going to trim my exhaust and would like some lift in the rear and and less bed bounce when I get my new tires so what do ya’ll suggest?

I had the dual exhaust with Toytec shackles and 295 70 18s. The tailpipes did hit the leafs from time to time (driving, not just full droop) and before completely squashing the tails I switched to dumped pipes. The 295 spare will fit. I removed the guides so the spare fits up tighter to the bottom of the bed, not necessary but got me a little better clearance.
Also, you don't want dumped pipes pointing straight down at the ground. I had to re-cut mine. First time you're on a dusty road with pipes pointed straight at the ground you're gonna get lost in a cloud of dust.

So will the coach #2’s fit with the TRD dual? I have mine coming. Do I need to stop the order.

Still waiting for mine. Shipping label has been generated for a couple days now but hasn’t been shipped. We will see if it fits if or when they get here.

I just received my coachbuilder 1” shackles. I also have the TRD exhaust. Will this be an issue with the 1” or is it specific to the 2”? I also am adding 295/70/18’s.

i have +2s. no problem with trd dual exhaust. I removed the two spare tire brackets. My 295/70/18 ridge grappler is tight and touches one of the shackle nuts.
