Yup they fold in manually, I love em. Took awhile to get used to them driving because they feel huge but now I dont notice.

 

So you have to manually fold them in? Do you happen to have a link to where you got them?

 

They were installed when I ordered the truck from the factory. Yes I just pull em in manually. I thought it would be a pain but its not really a big deal. I know you can snag em on Ebay for about $230 ish. They make power folding mirrors too.

 

If I got them, I'd need power folding so that I can get into the garage, ha. I like those black bumpers as well. Did you do those yourself or have them done? That was something I was considering on mine to get rid of the chrome.

 

I plasti dipped the chrome to black them out. cost about $16 and an hour of time.

 

Very nice. I've seen a couple different ways guys are doing it. Plasti-dip seemed the easiest

 

My tow mirrors are manually folding as well. From what I understand, the auto-folding tow mirrors are pretty much double the regular type (OEMs) and the feature works only for those that came with the feature.

 

I've heard the very same thing. I'm guessing the SR5's don't have the proper wiring installed. However, I've heard we would gain the turn signal lights.

 

I read about someone attempting to wire the folding feature, but I don't remember if he was successful.

With regular tow mirror (non-folding), you retain power/heat and you gain both signal and running light. Incidentally, if you have higher trim, tow mirror doesn't give you the running light. Beats me why.

Thats the same color set up I was thinking about. I am undecided about the light bar. I love the idea but I'm not sure how I like it being so noticeable. It takes away from the grill.

 

That's color set up is popular. I think from the front of our vehicles the biggest difference will be the bump end caps. I'm leaving the chrome, you blacked out yours and I believe Nick has plans to color match his. LOL ... Who knows what Wes will come up with.

I like the light bar. Just don't see myself doing it as I live in the city and don't off road enough to justify installing one.

 

As of right now I plan on blacking out the chrome, since I have the black out logos and getting the black tailgate insert. I want it all Silver and Black with no chrome. Eventually I want the black Spyder head lights as well. All in time, ha.

 

Well I must absolutely agree with you I may do a bull bar set up for my light bar. I want the grill to be distinct and stand out. i wish we had an app to swap parts out and see what it looks like on our trucks.

 

What's wrong with chrome ... It's just a shiny silver. LOL.

 

Kind of the reason we have this thread. To get ideas from one another. Just glad we don't live in the same town/city ... It would look funny if we all did. Unless we lived in Oakland and had Raider stickers all over our trucks.

lol.... at first I didn't plan on installing the light bar but im glad i did very happy with the results i wanted something a lil different a lot of tundras have the trd pro grille already so i wanted it to be just a lil different from the rest and not a big fan of the bull bars..
but i do have plans on color matching the chrome bumpers just not sure yet if i want to paint that black plastic part between the bumper caps only time will tell

 

lol at the raider stickers that was one thing i didn't want is people thinking im a raider fan lol

 

I'm guessing you're a Bronco fan and no, I'm not a Raider fan either. Oddly enough I'm a Dolphin fan.

I live the closest to where they play now, but I thought you might have been a Raider fan from their time in L.A.

Ram fan since they're coming back?

 

Well I live in San Antonio so the black and silver goes well with the Spurs, BUT, I'm not at all a Spurs fan.. haha
