If you want to keep parking it in the garage then you'll need to do some planning. Take lots of measurements and figure out how much room you have to work with, then go from there. I've done exactly that w/mine and it's my DD as well.

    I’d say 3/1

Less components, no cutting, easy to maintain, gives enough clearance for any chance trail runs or most off-road (not extreme) excursions, not much mpg loss, looks badass

    Good all around

Like @Sas said, if you want to keep parking in your garage, I’d take measurements and/or hire a contractor to raise the clearance if need be.

The more you lift it the more components and systems come into play. You may have to upgrade more than just suspension if you're doing a 6" lift. If you want to keep it simple, clean and relatively inexpensive do a 3/1 or 3/2.

    No lift.

I lowered the rear on mine, it sits level now.

Did you have to add differential drop kit too? Or just replaced it with toytec struts spring assembly?

Whatever the eibach kit came with. I’m drawing a blank this morning. Was that a diff drop kit, or carrier bearing?

I think that was the diff drop kit.

It really depends on your wants and needs. When you go over 3”, it becomes a drop bracket it.

Coilovers are the problem. They are not cheap no matter what the application. It’s a lot of shock and technology that is far from cheap.

You would be fine adding the 3” Toytec lift.
The Revtek kit is very good, and would have included the diff drop, carrier bearing drop, etc.. That said lots of people including myself that run 3” coilover lifts and use their trucks hard do not use a diff drop. IMO the cons outweigh the pros.:notsure:

This. Not the lowering part but I agree no lift if I would do it all over again would left stock and added some 2.5 coilovers and shocks when it would be time to replace.

No lift. After running a lift on my DD for four years I got tired of the climbing in and out. Tired of not being able to use a regular jack or reaching into my bed. Tired of the expensive cost of oversized tires. Tired of even worse MPG. Tired of premature wear on a lot of components.
My opinion on lifts is they look awesome and are very good if your constantly off road. They are not very practical.

Revtek kit came with spacer for differentials
    Front ( should) 2.5" with 1 1/4 rear block..
But looks like truck is nose diving.i ordered 1" block and might replace front with toytec/eibach 3" assembly

Looks good! Not sure I would drop the back down to 1” if upgrading to the 3” Toytec/Eibach kit, there is a good chance your current front coils are a little tired from the preload spacers and age. Would definitely start with the front upgrades first, will be a noticeable improvement, rear will be mostly aesthetic.

That 3" lift is much higher quality, better offroad and on road, will last longer, cause less wear on the truck, ride better, look better and no cutting your crossmember out. Way better than a 6 BDS IMO

Personally I probably wont lift another vehicle, I've done a few tacomas and I'm over it. I just don't ever offroad so theres no point for me to lift and stick big tires under it. It'll look bad ass but kill my mileage and prematurely wear out other components.
I may consider lowering it at some point though.
