I am a brandnew tundra owner picked her up a month ago looking for some suspension upgrades so my question is are the fox 2.5 none resis adjustable to more then 2" lift or not i am looking for 2.5" of lift upfront. This is my old ride i traded in for a tundra

That may be the non-extended travel version.

    They make a few.

2.0 kit = up to 2" IIRC (2.0s are useless on this size truck.

    2.5 normal and extended travel

Which ones exactly were you looking at?

Extended travel will* require a new upper control arm.

Personally, I skipped fox on the tundra and went ADS. Fox was not pleasant to deal with over the phone. They accumulate some minor rust here in AZ on my Tacoma. I am glad I went ADS this time around.

    Happy shopping!

    So just confirmed,

    0-2" allows OE UCA
This is the only option for none resi.

0 to 3" requires the aftermarket UCA

Forgot to mention, if anyone does go fox and what just a touch more travel out of their extended travel....let me know, i know a trick ;)

I actually almost bought a set of the 2.5" non resi fox's off craigs. The guy had a Tundra and had them set to 3" even though fox says 0-2". The 2.5" resi's are 0-3". I personally would not get the non resi and go over 2" so if I were you, i would get the 2.5 resi (which is what i want). This is the link to his set. He did tell me he was going to correct the (0-3") on his listing to (0-2") but he has yet to do that. https://denver.craigslist.org/pts/d/fox-front-suspension-25-factory-series/6763802722.html

I had the fox 2.5 non resis on my 16 Tundra DC. I can tell you that out of the box I gained near 3.5 inches of lift. And those were the 0-2” lift fox shocks.

They were great. I loved them. I had those on the front and the fox 2.0 on the rear. Truck drove great. I would definitely run them again. I’m trying to figure that out now, which way to go on my new truck. I’ve been leaning towards 6112/5160.

They will ride differently than the Fox.
Fox uses progressive valving while Bilstein uses digressive.

Cost. My truck is mainly a road queen. The stock suspension is not great. I feel that one of the best things you can do to any vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle is suspension. Fox would be great, and still not completely ruled out, but may be overkill for my needs.
