2014 Toyota Tundra Platinum

Bought my Tundra in Feb of 2018 and it already had a 2.5” lift up front with a 1” block in the back.
The first thing I did was upgrade the rotors from factory because they were warped to a set of slotted rotors and all new brakes.

Then I added a TRD sway bar to the rear end.
Then I added red letter inserts to the tailgate and painted front tow hooks to match.
Then came the money parts:

First I added a NSV light bar upfront and upgraded my headlights and fog lights to the 2018 versions. Also changed puddle lights on mirrors to LEDs

Then was suppression, removed lift spacer and added Fox 2.5 coilover with reservoir, Zone Upper control arms for up front, and Fox 2.0 for rear.

Tires will be next once I wear current BFGs out.

I like the look of those tow hooks. What paint did you use to match that up?

 

Just ruffed them up with some sand paper and hit them with this from Home Depot. It doesn’t same the color name on the cans so I just picked what I though was closetest to the TRD sway bar color. I did it about 8 months ago and so far it has held up great, not flaking or fading

 

Thanks. Did you put a clear coat on after that? Also, I am considering painting my coilovers red. Do you think this paint would hold up?

 

I didn’t use a clear coat. As far as coilovers, not really sure. A powder coat would probably be more durable, but if you tried just spraying them, at least it wouldn’t be expensive if it didn’t work out. But toytec makes red coilovers also if you wanted to do a complete upgrade
