Mine should have been here Thursday. It’s lost somewhere thanks to USPS. Man I hate USPS! I should always pay more to use UPS or FEDEX.

Some more feedback on mine... on day 6 and loving this thing. The weather has been wet and cold here, icy the past few mornings so I've been holding off on trying the sport and sport+ modes. In City +2 / +3 I really like how the truck reacts, quick without being jerky. I ran it in Eco on the way home last night (12 miles highway, 6 miles rural roads @35 mph) and it felt like I was dragging an anchor. In Eco, according to the trip computer, I went down about 4/10ths mpg on the highway. Before putting it in I was averaging between 15.1 and 15.6. After, I averaged 16.1 to 16.3 on City +2. Got gas Wednesday night, reset the trip computer and have been averaging 16.5. I'm pretty easy on the gas pedal and have been more conscious of my "go" foot and shift points since putting the PC in but the mileage increase has been consistant and a nice surprise. Hopefully it lasts. All in all I'm really diggin' it. I get up to highway speeds faster and the lag is gone when setting and accelerating with the cruise. Its dry and sunny today so I might get to play with the sport modes and tow/haul. For anyone trying the Eco mode, you have to press and hold the power button on the PC or press and hold the Eco on the app and then 'agree' to the change in order to put it in Eco. The other modes are very quick to scroll thru. The only other thing I've noticed so far is that the bluetooth is a little slow to connect and takes more than one try sometimes. This may or may not be my phone, I haven't tried dumping and reloading the app yet but my connection to the truck is always instant.

Night and day. It feels like I'm in an old 5.0 stang or Cuda. Ok not quite the same but the responsiveness of the peddle now is insane. Feels like a different truck

** edit: my son asked me to turn around to retrieve his stomach :eek2:. Not sure he's my child lol

PC installed! Only played with it for some short drives but to the guy claiming mashing the pedal is the same I call BS.
I have NEVER been able to spin my tires either in normal or in T/H mode. I figured WTF, might as well go sport + +4 and my head snapped back and I lit them up. It almost seems like it unlocks the HP that your truck already has but got throttled back from Toyota.
My initial feeling is that this thing is going to be awesome. Right now I’m leaving it on Sport +1. I’ll cruise around for a few days and feel it out. I may go city mode if I feel like I am racing around to much.
My BT connected right up. The App is clean and easy to use. I Tucked my PC on the angle plastic by my right leg. It would be tough to change on the unit where it’s mounted. I honestly don’t know why you wouldn’t want the BT option.
Install was 2 minutes. It will be easy to remove if I head to the dealer and it leaves no footprint so they won’t be able to see anything. To my knowledge many tuners etc do so this is a positive.
I’ll report back after some more use but as of now this thing is sweet!

This sounds like a must do mod. Happen to have a link for the best price on the BT version? So far Amazon is the cheapest I have found.

Just ordered from PC since they have a 20% code going on now. Interested to see what this device does. I think somebody mentioned in the thread that the Toyota cpu seems to learn these changes and tame them over time. Guess we'll see.

Anybody running this on a 4.6L in a 3rd Gen CM? I'm thinking about trying this out but am curious of other's experiences.

I finally got around to installing this today. So glad for the BT capability. I just tucked the unit itself away and controlled it from my phone. Great product.

I like seeing all the satisfaction with the PC. I feel the exact same way, Tundra is whip fast, SportPlus+4 is animal. I settled on Sport+4.

Once you new guys get a couple weeks down the road with the PC, turn it off and see how the Tundra feels. I'ts criminal how sluggish and doggy the truck feels. Then immediately turn the PC back on to Sport+4 and rocket away from the misery.

They are both BT it looks like. It seems like they just modernized the container it comes in. They now send out a better looking sticker. I’ll shoot a pic if anyone cares. It’s nothing major. No doubt they are the same product.

i was interested in a pedal commander until i read this dudes comment:

"People who like the pedal commander or any of the other clones have no idea how a throttle by wire system works. When you press down on the gas pedal your ecu sees the signal then sends your throttle body instructions on how far to open. The pedal commander attaches to the gas pedal and alters the signal that goes from the gas pedal to the ecu. The problem people are trying to fix with the device is the so called lag they feel when they press their gas pedal down and when the car actually starts moving. For some reason people think that the signal going from the gas pedal takes a long time to travel to the ecu and that is why they have a delay. The signal actually reaches the ecu instantly and the signal going from the ecu to the throttle body is instant as well. So why is there a delay? Because the automotive makers built it into the software. Its called torque management. If you slam your foot down to the floor what happens is the ecu says, nope, and gradually opens the throttle body not giving it full power right away because it doesnt want you to spin the tires and lose control of the car. Pretty much every modern car does this. So what does the pedal commander do? It lies to the ecu as to how far youre pressing the gas pedal. So if you press it 30 percent the ecu may see 50. So by the time youre at 70 to 80 to 90 percent the ecu is seeing 100 percent full throttle making it feel like the car is accelerating faster. The problem with this is that now the pedal resolution has been greatly lowered making it more light switch like and the 1 to 1 throttle pedal input vs output ratio has been thrown out which makes it feel less like the old throttle by cable systems which were 1 to 1 ratios. No matter what setting you have on the pedal commander the ecu will still slow down the rate at which your throttle opens since this product installs before the ecu signal and not after and torque management is still there. My opinion is that this product and all its clones are snake oil. These companies prey on people who dont understand how a modern throttle by wire system works. It doesnt get rid of any lag because there is none to get rid of. It will do nothing to how fast your car accelerates to sixty. Dont waste your money on this huge rip off. To get rid of that delay you have to get a tune which will remove torque management. Also, a tune can alter your throttle to output ratio to whatever your want making the pedal commander totally useless. Yes if you have both a tune and a pedal commander at the same time you have literally just flushed 300 bucks down the drain. This pedal commander is worth 30 bucks at most. My RC radio controller can do this exact same thing except I get to totally customize what my throttle does with a visual graph and lcd display plus I have atleast 20 more functions and its wireless all for 40 bucks. So please dont waste your money on this garbage product"

Don't think it's quite snake oil. To say is does nothing is incorrect. There are very noticeable differences between modes and how it makes the vehicle perform.

Is it worth $250-300? Very arguable, Probably not. It is easy to install, easy to use, and does seem to work. I have seen cheaper devices with poor reviews.

Interesting, they must have some new repackaging. Guessing some of the old packaging are still out there.
