That's good. Here's hoping you land it. Really shitty time of year to lose a job, I know a couple people who have had that happen.

Well I still did a thing today

They aren't wired, but they're installed lol. Thanks to Rago Fabrication out of the hill country of Texas for the sweet mounts at a 10% discount and some dude from my old job who gave me the LEDs for free.

@because_v8 Maybe you can hold on to that bumper over the weekend. If the new job comes through, welding on a hitch might save you money in she long run, over selling this, then outing the money toward another.

Plus if you cart this around to fabs, easy to show it as an example of what you want, "except I'd like to add in a hitch, and do ______ here. I'd rather it be like ________ on this edge."...

I think I'd rather just have one custom built by one of our local TW members. Some of them do amazing fab work. This bumper is decent and I've modified it to my liking. But I reached the point where I'm not willing to do anything else to it. I found ition craigslist a few months back and already improved on it as much as I can. I need my hitch, so I'll just sell the bumper and wait to have one custom made exactly how I want it. Preferably high clearance with integrated hitch

5100 install went really well. 2wd DC on the highest notch. Here are measurements before, some pics during, and measurements and pics after. Just took it for a spin around the block and I do get that nice firmer feel in the front. I will drive it around some and get some better pics after my chicken nuggets finish cooking lol. I am loving the way the truck looks now

2 3/4” lift? Those coils look thick. You do the rear shocks?

Wheelers off road progressive AAL... Best bang for you buck and rides better than a single AAL. Had em on both my tacos and now my tundra. Also Bilstein 5160s are the sex.

Do your shocks first before the leafs. I think you will be surprised on how much the rear firms up. Its not suppose to give lift, but my 5100’s raised the rear about 1/2”.

Wished I had taken measurements like you.

I removed mine. It really made the truck look better since ethe only one that needed em was my mom and she's hardly ever in my truck. Plus o plan to do sliders in the future that will double as steps.

Just cleaned the MAF Sensor after seeing so many recommend it. Did the wife's Rav4 as well since her car was acting like it might stall when at a red light. Ordered new plugs for it as well.

Remove. Or, insert a flat piece of metal at a 45° angle the entire lenght between the step and underside of truck at that lip and then spray thee tire assy black. The steps look good, but its that gap that messes the aesthetics. New assy will look like ‘sliders’.

Would be way less expensive, too. Those TuRD coils are steep.

Thanks man. Been working hard under there. Sprayed FLUID FILM back in spring and it gives a nice sheen to the chasis that was once a light grey/black with surface rust. The spare tire: I dropped and sanded and painted Rustoleum prior to getting new tires and the ‘newer spare’ transfer. I’m in the process of oil rubbing the chasis slowly a section at a time when under doing other work. Not very hard if you break it down into small increments. I’m running out of stuff that needs to be done and working on little things as time goes.

Damn I wish I was down south. Shipping to Colorado would kill it. Out of curiosity, where did you get it new - local fabricator or somewhere online where they would ship to Colorado? Only local place I know that makes them is way too pricey http://www.addictedoffroad.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=724

I guess there is another guy that can fab me one, and rock sliders as well.. might be an option. What did you pay for your brand new?
Thanks, and good luck with the interview!
