I hear what you’re saying about shiny aluminum however I would recommend looking into the Decked system just because of how low it sits in the bed and it’s wide range of usability.

Just sold a Weatherguard after adding a cap to my CM. Would have listed it here but didn't have enough posts.
Great tool boxes. Not cheap. Never leaked a drop, and I got most of my original $ out of it.
Model 127 diamond plate for full sized truck.
    Highly recommend Weatherguard.

Can you post a pic of it in your truck? I'm looking for something similar but, was hoping to find one that didn't sit on top of the bed sides.

Weather Guard may cost twice as much but it’s twice as stout and has a locking mechanism that is twice as solid.

This is all I have for now, tomorrow evening I can get better pics if you need.

I don’t mind paying the price, but I have a 5.5’ bed and when I called up WeatherGard, they told me they didn’t make a box for the tundra with any bed less than 6’. Are you saying you this 127 model will fit the 5.5’ bed? If so this is great news, this bed definitely has limited options for a toolbox, I like the diamondback too, but a great WeatherGard would be better for me right now. When it comes to aluminum tool boxes, I prefer the top quality ones, I’ve had a few weaker ones develop issues long term.
