    My current employer has a prusa i3 mk3. Better than the luzbot they had prior. Luzbot was super loud and had a poorer res / print quality that prusa.

    See my reply above. I've worked with a Stratasys 250mc, stratasSt 450mc and a prusa i3 mk3. Two totally different ends of the spectrum on printers. Stratasys are for large companies the 450mc was $150k.

    Working on the face up some in cad tonight when I have a fresh head on it.

    American abs plastic what is used ( pricey) not China plastic breaks down easy.. I go thru nozzles and heat elements to do the high temp needed.

    You can get an education license if you are doing any kind of online schooling for drafting or design or have a family member that is.

    I want to say Autodesk does some free stuff on education side ( don't hold me to it) can't remember off the top of my head.. software people change at the drop of the hat.. there others out there does software free for education long as you have a edu. Addy.

    I have a Prusa i3 Mk3. It’s probably one of the best home 3D printers available right now. They designed it so it’s upgradeable, so when they release a new model you don’t have to buy a totally solid new printer. I built an enclosure for it to print ABS.

    I mainly use Solidworks to create parts, but I also have Fusion360 and Rhino.

    I built the same enclosure for mine, but I found the filament holders sucked so I printed this one. I also put an 16”x16”x2” block under the printer to add mass. It cut down on vibration and noise. Works much better now.

    Funny you mention the spool holder. Ive been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out why my extruder wasn't feeding.....long story short....that pos spool holder wasn't letting the spool spin.....I thought I had a clog that wouldn't go away

    All of the regular sized and jumbo sized drinking cups/tumblers always fall over. Got tired of it and made a solution to my cup dilemma. Tundra cup holder at it's widest in only 86mm, my cup is 100mm. Drawn in F360 and printed on a qidi x-one and an ender 3.

    Also made a custom badge for the armrest.
