    Oregon was probably much better back then (politically) lol.
    I’ve debated the Boise area. If WA keeps up with the gun laws I don’t know what I’m going to do. I like to fish and hunt, and ID doesn’t have fresh Spring Chinook or Winter Steelhead right off the coast like we do here.

    Drain is oldest officially platted town in Oregon. Yoncalla....five miles south was settled by Jesse Applegate. The famed Applegate Trail guy. Descendants still live there. Drain is still a logging town. Nothing like Eugene or Portland...wink...wink....

    We had a 72 acre ranch 3 miles west of town. Umpqua River 13 miles west. Great fishing and duck hunting. No sales tax statewide......

    Personally, I really don't care what anyones standing with politics are. Seriously. If your cool with me, I'm cool with you. Everyone has a different opinion and I don't like shutting people down for their beliefs.
