Hey y’all, just bought a 05 Double Cab with a front leveling kit. The front tires weren’t aligned afterward. I can tell because the outside edge of both tires is worn and there is a visible tilt on both tires.

Is it too late to have an alignment after some premature wear has happened?

I would say the tires are overall at about 70% aside from the outer edge being worn

It's never too late for an alignment.

    True.

Im really more concerned about the tires. I’ve been told by other car guys that once premature tire wear happens there is nothing you can do about it. Would an alignment help the tires to wear more evenly through the rest of the tire life?

Never too late, get the alignment done ASAP. Always get an alignment done after suspension work or tire change.

Tires are probably short lived either way, if they've run unaligned for that long they won't drive straight at all with a correct alignment and could track way off. I say do the alignment when you replace tires.

I say go get a lifetime alignment from firestone. Get them aligned, then when you get new tires... free alignment LOL

Get it aligned and move the cupped tires to the back.

Then go do a bunch of sick burnouts in an abandoned Kmart parking lot for an hour. Boom. Even wear.
