Sounds like a better solution. Hopefully it works out like that. Shoot an update if you get around to it please!

I only seen the rear end photo/bed cage. I'm kinda running on fumes right now, getting ready to finish the night here at work.. Just post another photo in his thread for me lol. I'm sure he wouldn't mind. ;)

    All good. It happens.
Bumper looks real slick with the glass fenders! Really nice touch. Definitely something a little different from the SDHQ bumper. Plans for a winch?

Yes on the winch. Trying to get my electrical all sorted out. Matt @GreatAvalon has been helping me with the build and he is working on all that right now. The current project is a big 3 upgrade and installing a high output alternator to run all my accesories. Next on the list is replacing my basically new DirtyDeeds 8" system with a @dirtydeeds full race system, 38 gallon tank, RTT rack and a few odds and ends and then hopefully get out west by Tundra's to Sedona next year.

IMO, that's the best looking bumper that I've seen yet. What did you do about the parking sensors that were installed in the OEM front bumper?

@dcsleeper408 @Bo-Hunter Just put my front skid on, its tight and takes some maneuvering and wiggling but it fits. Didnt undo any bumper hardware.

That is awesome I looked at it briefly today and was hoping that was how it was going to work. Thank you for letting us know.

Got mine on! Very tight fit, but it’s not going anywhere! Love the way it turned out. Only thing that concerns me is the horizontal alignment. Small gap on the left side, touching on the right. It fits so tight there really isn't any room to adjust it. Anyone else run into this? Or am I being too picky on an offroad bumper? @Larmand @Bo-Hunter

Corey, the bumper looks great! Is there no slotted adjustment on the bumper bolt holes?

Only for left and right adjustment. With the bumper also mounting to the underside holes where the factory tow hooks were, there really not a lot of play which is a good thing if it was straight.... :notsure:

Yes mine was a little off too. I had to loosen everything to allow for some play while keeping attached. Then we, @Squatting Pigeon and @HornFrog , had to try to adjust the best we could then tightened back up. Its not "perfect" but its better.

Ok Thanks man! I'll try loosening and moving it around a little, I don't need it absolutely perfect, but right now its noticeable enough to drive me crazy.

Yeah it was for me too. I think we even used the floor jack for assistance to help line up. I remember cause it pissed me off cause i had to get a tap and dye set to rethread one of the nuts and bolts

I had one get a little buggered up too, ran the nut back on and I think it corrected itself after a few turns. I was certainly swearing for most of this. Installed it by myself using some real sketchy methods... next time I'm inviting friends over to "hang out"

Still looks really nice! My friends have gotten smart. They ask what we are doing first. Especially when I say we are having steak!

I had fun making adjustments like that with my front pelfrey bumper. Ended up lifting the other side and holding it with my floor jack. Tightened the driver side down and then tightened the passenger side.
