Hi, not sure if you still have this set up but I had a few questions. I want something very similar in size, id like a set of Methods in bronze, 17x8.5 I'm planning on a 2.5-3" front level (not sure yet about a 1" in rear) would 35s fit without a body mount chop? Or a slightly smaller tire?

After much consideration I think I just want a slightly wider stance than stock with wheels of my choosing, no lift or level. Maybe 1” or 1 1/2” wider... same wheel size, same tire height...now I wonder how this affects clearances , etc?

Anyone else decide to just go a little wider Without lifting or leveling? Too many warrantee concerns, and I’ll probably only put the thing in 4 Wheel Dr. Four or five times a year, I just want to get the wheels I like in the stance I like without messing around with the suspension, thanks in advance, awesome site with lots of information, almost too much ha ha!!!

Updated with a slightly different suspension and tire setup:

    FN BFD 18x9 12mm offset
    Nitto Terra Grappler G2 325/60r18
King coilovers with coachbuilder shims up front, approx 3.25" lift, deavers and coachbuilder shackles out back, approx 1.5"

Very nice. I'm more or less looking to do the same thing with this same truck (don't yet have it but its in the works). Can you take a pic straight down the side so I can see how the spacers affect the stance from that angle? And as for bigger rubber, am I correct in my understanding that 295s on that 18" split 5-spoke stock rim + spacers will fit with no level/lift and not rub? Thanks in advance!

Hey Joe, looks great I think that’s the plan, the truck is so close to being exactly what I want, Did you have to mess with spacers, or did you just get a wider wheel and tire? Thanks in advance

Hey Tun, No worries. No spacers on my rig. The offset of the wheel is what gives the truck it’s stance. The tires are the same size as stock.

I’d imagine you would lose a little bit of turning radius other than that the ride and feel would be about the same?

Funny story... The Beasts where on my truck when I bought it. I thought I wanted a more stock look so I bought a set of TRD wheels and took them to my powder coat guy, put new TPMS in them, put TRD Pro center caps on them and had the OEM Michelins mounted. I thought I liked it for about a month. I was wrong. I put the Beasts back on yesterday. If there is any lost turning radius, it's negligible. I definitely prefer the more aggressive stance. $1K lesson learned.
My wifey didn't even notice that I had changed the back. I told her on the way to Costco. ( she was not happy, but cool about it)
I want to sell the powder coated TRD wheels to buy a TRD Pro Grille and wrap my chrome bumpers in white.

She is a bit dirty for a photo shoot but just got her put together. Have quite a bit of rubbing on the front bumper.. looking like I'll have to shim the bumper out a bit. Not very excited about that but I love the look and the tires. :muscleflexing:

Sorry about the poor lighting and crappy pic, but here's a side shot of my truck with Cooper Discoverer XLTs on 17" Icon Rebounds. The tires are 285/75/17s. No rub after removing the front bumper liner and with Bilstein 6112s set at 1.9".

Hey All, Have a 2018 TRD Sport DC and just ordered a set of FN BFD Rims (18x9 +12mm 5x150).

I'm wondering what would be best-recommended tire size. I may level but currently sits at stock height.

Sees a lot of highway driving, but playtime sees lots of snow and dirt. Thinking K02 as that's what I had on my Tacoma
