    The Peoples Republic of Kalifornia strikes again. Logged into Amazon to buy a battery charger and every charger I ran across said. "This item cannot be shipped to CA or OR". It seems CA recently passed a new nanny law requiring efficiency standards that none of the chargers can meet.

    I'm looking for a simple ~15A 12V charger, that I don't have to push a bunch of buttons on to select battery type every time I use it. I just want to plug it in, hook it up and walk away. Anyone know of such a beast that is legal for sale in the PRK?

    Yeah. I went out to an auto parts store today, and all they had was a digital press 5 buttons and pray model. Thats why I thought I'd just 'prime' it. Guess I'll hit a few more auto-parts stores tomorrow.

    Try buying it from Amazon anyway.

    I purchased a generator from Amazon that said "not for sale in California". They sent it to me anyway. I also purchased some rat poison from Amazon "not for sale in California" and they sent it anyway.
