Have one in 07, easy to install, it works. Think it just changes acceleration curves. Actually bought to smooth at jumpy gas pedal, have on lowest setting so son and wife can drive it better. Problem with earlier gen 2's.

I added one to my 2017 1794 4x4. Functions exactly how I want my tundra to perform. Install takes 5 min.

Improvements? wrote about it in link above. There are 4 modes with multiple levels per mode. The difference between modes is very noticeable when accerlerating, makes the truck feel different.

Many argue that for another $100, you can get a real tuner like the Bully Dog, which has more capabilities.

    I like my Pedal Commander.
I can set the throttle to be more sensitive, kind of like my old 2010 Tundra before all that pedal BS came out.

I have the sprint booster and love the simplicity of it. Install, chose the setting I want, done. Great throttle response.

My experience with the Pedal Commander has been all positive. I came from a 2007 Tundra 5.7 4x4 with exhaust, headers, intake mods. The performance of the truck was great, very responsive and IMO it was quick tuck with plenty of power.

Got my brand new 2017 1794 5.7 4x4 and was immediately surprised how sluggish it was, throttle response was slow and over-all disappointing driving experience. Installed Pedal Commander, game changer. It felt like my previous Tundra, instant throttle response, quick and exactly how the truck should perform.

The real proof, I have dialed in the exact setting that feels right for me using the Pedal Commander. driven like that for several weeks, then turned the Pedal Commander off (easy, can do on the fly) the truck goes right back to sluggish, delayed response, always mashing the pedal to get the truck to respond.

Guys have dismissed the Pedal Commander however, it is worth every penny again in my opinoin. Bought a Pedal Commander form brother 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser and his experience has been the same.

The guys over on the 4Runner site really like them. The T4R is kind of like an old dog off the line and in town. I will be getting one for my wifes 4Runner when I get back.

I'm guessing these do what the tow/haul button do just without affecting how long gears are held?

    How adjustable is it?

Depending on what you get, weather it’s the pedal commander or sprint booster will range on how adjustable it will be. What is does is change the the throttle mapping only. I have a version 2 of the sprint booster, it only have three options. Stock, medium or track. I run on the medium setting. The version three sprint booster and the pedal commander have much more adjustability.

4 modes, Eco, city, sport. & sport+ that are changed with a push of a selection button, change notices immediately. There are 4 levels within each mode, changed with selection button as well. These are more subtle differences, barely noticeable.

The Sport+ is probably same or close to Beast mode.

I also have the pedal commander. Bought it to reduce the lag I was getting when starting from zero mph. I am very satisfied with it. Even improved my gas mileage by about 1.5 mpg.

$300ish from Pedal Commander. I believe I called, got %10 off of price then. Also a 30 day money back garranty.

Wow, I just picked up one for my 2014, and now it feels like a Tundra again. The throttle response was my biggest complaint about the Gen3s. I'm running Sport +1 right now, and it feels right. I bought the one on Amazon which was aver $100 cheaper than any Bullydog option I could find. It took me 10 minutes to install, and 5 of that was trying to get the clip unclipped from the pedal.

Wow is right, i installed mine yesterday on my 18 and using the city setting is night and day difference. i had a 12 that had good response, my 14 was less and the 18 was a dog until now.

What pedal commander model is the correct one for the tundra?

What actual settings can you manipulate via bluetooth?

Check the website, it has year/make/model/engine that will select the correct one for your Tundra. The BT will control all the functions of the main controller on your phone
