No offense taken I just love my truck and have no plans and buying another 50 to $60,000 truck for a long time. My truck only has 59,000 miles on it so if I can keep it from rusting out for quite a while so be it. I've had all kinds of things through the years I never drove in the salt when you have toys that are seasonal you get used to it. I got a boat I can only use spring to the fall I used to ride motorcycles you can ride spring to Fall so just doesn't bother me.

 

I am really glad that they don't use much salt where I live.

Hell ya!! This is my first vehicle with remote start! Love it!

 

My 2011 Malibu had it, but after three years, my check engine light came on and never would stay off. Several trips to the garage and swearing later, I just rode with the light on. Downside is when that light is activated you can use your remote start. That shit sucks right there, when it gets brutally cold in Minnesota sometimes. I'm contemplating a different battery, because my truck doesn't fit in the apartment garage (well in certain places it would but those spots are taken) and so it sits outside. But really, I'm just trying to sound more alpha than I really am because I have a truck now. HA!

 

Every time I stop on the PA Turnpike the charging stations are empty, never seen one vehicle charging

Morning everyone

 

I know that there are people that do store vehicles during the winter, I just never understood it. Maybe for a RWD muscle car or sports car or something - because they suck in the snow anyway. But, a big part of the reason I own a 4X4 is because of how it drives in winter weather.

The snow has been sparse, relatively speaking, for the past decade or so up here. We have had a couple of "decent" years, but no extremely good snow years like they used to have. Hoping to have a "decent" year this year. This last storm dropped about 18" on the ski hill, which was quite a bit more than was expected. We are supposed to get another shot on Friday as well. Fingers crossed.

 

Time to go get groceries, going to the big fancy grocery store where all the ladies hang out

Yes a Tesla is a cool car for electric but I prefer the sound of a gas engine. Besides I live in the country and can be without power sometimes for day's so a gas engine is alot more appealing to me. We also go out west hunting and may drive 1,000 plus miles in a day that also wouldn't work unless I pulled a generator behind me. Lol
