Like the title says, we are headed north for our honeymoon. First to Vancouver for 36 hours or so, staying at the Pan Pacific. Then hoping on a cruise headed up the coast ending in Seward. Gonna go fishing in Seward then head to Anchorage for the flight home. We booked a zip line tour already. Other than that our schedule is wide open. Looking for food recommendations on Vancouver-heard it's amazing there. Or any other advice for the cruise, things to do, things to eat or see... we are very excited, always wanted to go see that part of the continent. Thanks in advance!

Bummer, if I was still up there, I'd fly you around and give you the royal tour of some beautiful country around Seward. I fly out of Seward each spring to our bear camp. Just east of town up on a glacier, there is a camp set up with about 50 mushing dogs. A helicopter flys guest up from seward to spend a few hours mushing with the dogs. It's one of the Iditarod guys that owns/runs it but I can't remember his name. Might be something to try.
Here's a couple of pics, one is the camp on the glacier.

Damn, that is badass! We are going on a halibut fishing deal in seward for 5 hours I believe. Hopefully we find some fish!

Christo's Palace restaurant in Seward is pretty darn good. Menu is pretty much local food

very cool, we will give that a look. we get off the boat fairly early the last day in Seward. then we have a 5 hour fishing tour, then we have the rest of the day er... night? lol we drive to anchorage the next day to fly home.

Christo's isn't cheap, but we are talking Seward. Prices are a somewhat higher now with all the people coming up this time of year. Their grilled fresh salmon or cod burgers are very yummy. A little bit of everything on the menu. Pizza is good too.
