It was pretty cold once the clouds came out and blocked the sun. But running up and down the sled hill helped. This was up 80 off yuba gap exit. A couple miles back is lake valley reservoir.

Hey, that's our drinking water you're driving on. Take it easy, bro.

(Can you sense the SoCal bitterness??)

That looks like fun. I haven't taken the Tundra out for snow fun yet. How do you feel about another rig tagging along next time? I'm bone stock so I'm not looking to get too weird.

Oh I don’t have a ton of time either haha. Just had time that afternoon for a spur of the moment snow trip. We actually were only there for a couple hours. I have a 9 month old so it had to be quick.

Did a thorough inspection on the truck today. Went through all fluids (rear diff, transfer case, front diff) all looked brand new and full. Vacuumed out all the brake fluid and power steering fluid I could and replaced. Figure I will keep doing this for a while. Only real things I found were my valve cover gaskets are leaking pretty good so I will do those when I do the timing belt. Also steering rack has a torn boot and is leaking fluid. Figure I will deal with that when it starts acting up. All in all not bad for buying the truck for 10,900!
