We are out on a road trip, from home(Denver), down through New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, then home. Spent the last few days in Scottsdale, our family has a house here. I am a beginner climber/hiker, and have climbed everything reasonably difficult along the way. Arizona has been pretty cool, Camelback is in our back yard and was intense with the heat, but I hiked Black Mountain in Cave Creek AZ this morning to watch the sun come up. My day was perfect!

After the sun came up, noticed this guy standing guard at the base of the flag, guarantee I was inches away before sunrise.16D748DB-2B8F-4DAA-9CC3-31E52C077EEC_zps_9b8e7c4e3ad05a03defd0bf5596fbeb559069cfb.jpg
