What's up guys I'm new here. I'm looking for info on these rings. I recently did a leveling kit and 20in rims and I'm getting steering wheel shake 50 60 miles an hr. I had 3 alignments and tire balances done and still have it. I read about these rings but wanna learn more about them. Any info is good thanks

You talking about hub centric wheel spacers like Spidertraxx or Bora?

Not spacers they are rings that slide into the inside of ur rim and fit over ur hub to take the gap out. I read that Toyota are hub centric when it comes to wheels but not sure if that changes if you buy different wheels. My stock trd wheels were 18in I put 20in fuel kranks on.

Yes those are them. But is this maybe my issue?

Honestly, I have zero experience with these. Wish I could say yay or nay but the description of what they can do sounds promising for your issue

Honestly, I don't think the rings are gonna solve your problem. I do think hub centric is better than lug centric. But, if the tires and wheels are true and installed correctly you should not have any issue with running a purely lug centric setup. I've got lug centric Method wheels and don't have any issues. I believe the problem is either tire or wheel related. You might try moving wheels front to back and see if there's a change. Any change would indicate the the wheels/ tires are the issue. Best of luck.

This is great advice. I fought the exact thing. I tried all kind of remedies. I had wheels swapped, tires swapped, and multiple road force balances. DT kept telling me they were perfect. So, I dealt with it. Then I get my tires rotated and the fronts go to the back and NO vibration. That tells me that regardless of what The tire shop says one of the wheels or tires that were in front have an imperfection. I’m dreading rotating again. LOL.

If it’s only happening at a certain speed, it’s most likely a tire issue. Try swapping in the spare one tire at a time to isolate which wheel is problematic. If you don’t have a matching spare, swap front and rear one side at a time.

Yea, I’ll probably tell them to do that but that doesn’t really isolate the bad tire. I was thinking of having them take one back and put it on driver front. One at a time. That will let me know which one causes the issue.

How did they balance the tires? Road force? Beads? What kind of tires? Street? A/t? M/t? All play a part too. What kind of level kit spacer or struts? And who did it.

ATMs are good tires, we had 1 go bad on our sequoia 1 week after getting them mounted. Started shaking and getting louder, dealer thought it was a wheel bearing. Then figured out it was the tire. Contacted where we got the tires and they replaced the bad tire.

So what I'm getting outta this I should look more into the tires then adding parts on. I have had them rotated once at the dealership but not sure how they rotated them.
