    hello everyone,

I live in Auburn, Ca and finally bought my dream truck. 2005 crew cab SR5 with leather seats. 216 on the odometer and other than some minor cosmetic stuff it’s very clean.
I’ve owned a couple 4runners and been around Tacoma’s, tundras and land cruisers so I knew exactly what I was looking for.
I plan on mostly a very clean stock truck but with some tastefull updates. It’s mainly a family hauler, up to the snow and eventually tow a small/medium camper trailer.
First thing on the list is the window sweep ( or maybe belt trim) on the driver side doors is damaged. I can’t find it online. I called Auburn Toyota and they wanted 155 for just the driver door! Anyone got a good source for these? I’d like to get new if it’s not too pricey. Thanks everyone!

I just ordered a set for Gen 2’s on Amazon. It was $98.00 for all four.

Dang now that I have the part number everywhere is around a hundred bucks. Hmmm......might look for someone parting out a truck and pick up a whole set. Well anyway thanks! Already a ton Of help! Glad I have this resource now. In about a month I will be doing the timing belt, water pump, t-stat, etc.

If you are very careful with taking those off, I have seen them successfully restore. Scrape and sand old rubber crap off, stand the chrome a bit, hit them with adhesion promoter and spray with rattle can bed liner. Costs about $20, depends what your spare time is worth.

Thanks everyone! Ya the rear belt is salvageable so maybe just sand and paint. The front one is torn so must be replaced. Going to keep an eye out for someone parting out a tundra or go to a junk yard and get a whole set
