LOL I hear you on the timing. I'll try to speed it along as best as I can without sacrificing quality. So a word on the plastic, I feel like that's what most people envision when they think of "plastic."

This is going to be a little wordy, but you had a great question, and I think a lot of people are wondering the same. There are thousands of different plastics available, and each has a different purpose. The plastics that we use are ABS and TPO. Both are the meant for the automotive industry. Your plastic body panels and trim on your Tundra are most likely one of those two plastics. They are meant to be subject to harsh conditions and are used extensively on the inside and outside of vehicles. They are flexible so they can deform to a certain degree before any permanent damage. Obviously, they have a breaking point, so take care of them, but this is meant to be a "final solution" for chrome. Our stock colors have a UV clearcoat molded in. Essentially, you can expect them the hold up as well as any of the other plastics on your truck. If you take care of them, they will last for a very long time. The warranty is a limited lifetime warranty. That guards against manufacturer defects that compromise the integrity of the product. We've been selling these for a little over 4 years and have had 0 issues with the products degrading over time. They will 100% last longer and look better farther down the road than vinyl.

Is that a 2014+ color option? I swear, every color list I come across has more color codes.

 

@EC1, you'll see some are requesting just the fronts, and some are requesting both front and rear. You probably already know this, but that's because some trim levels (like mine, Limited with the Premium package) have color-keyed rear bumper caps, but chrome fronts. Will you be offering both ways, a set of 4, and also fronts only?

 

Yes! You'll be able to purchase just fronts, just rears, or both when they are available.

No official waiting list yet! What I'm thinking we will do is open a pre-order when we get close so we can have a pretty good idea of quantities before we have them painted. That pre-order will be first come, first served. Still time to tweak that plan before the release, but those are my initial thoughts. If you've already commented that your interested, I'll reach out to you to let you know the group-buy pre-order is open before I post it on the forum for everyone. That gives those of you who have been following this thread for a while a chance to be in the front.

We will have several stock blacks in addition to the OEM colors we choose to do. We have a solid gloss black, a matte black, a textured TPO, and a bed-lined version.
