I work at a car dealership and I have a 2016 Tundra. If a 2018 Tundra comes in I already have permission to do a headlight swap, BUT..... will my factory 2016 headlights work without any mods in the 2018? I cant leave them with a truck with the headlights not working.

    Thank you for looking.

I will not be doing a headlight swap due to the fact that it would be an A$$hole move....

Shady. Seen this plenty when I shopping around small used lots. They’ll play like it is and if you don’t know or notice, it’s your loss in the end.

Like others said, Just buy new headlights and harness so the new buyer wont get screwed by your dealership when they get the new truck.

That’s unethical and dishonest for that kind of business you’re working for.

So, ur swapping out a 2018 lights on a new truck, and placing 2016’s (yours) on it, and listing it as new?

Might as well swap out grille, shocks and wheels. Why stop at headlights?

No I would have taken a used 18 and swapped them out. But like you and others have pointed out, that would be a dishonest move and I will NOT be doing it. I have already contacted Sparksparts and they have the best prices, they even beat my local dealership by $86 at wholesale price.

Honestly I was just excited about the idea I could get them for next to nothing and did not think about the other side of it. I know I would be pissed as hell if I bought an 18 and it came with 16 headlights. I believe in the karma thing, so if I did swap them, next thing you know I would get into a head-on car wreck and then boom no lights!!!
