Yup working for the water department I'm very familiar with the product and have access to unlimited quantity lol. This thought also crossed my mind as well when Tom mentioned the problem he had. NJ is bad for salt and it's effects on any metal. Soon as he said it, that was the 1st thing that came to mind. But appreciate the heads up none the less, great minds think alike.

I did snow removal for 15 years strait, from 20 to 35. I haven’t been in a salt truck, front end loader with a snow box for 7 years and it’s great. It’s good money but it takes a heavy toll on the body and time away from my kids. Anyway, thanks again.

After seeing these posts about aluminum valve stem caps got me to go check mine because I put on a set of aluminum caps after someone took 2 of the original plastic ones. No issues with any of mine and I discovered they have a threaded plastic liner inside the aluminum cap so the aluminum doesn't screw onto the steel valve stem. Thanks for the "heads up". The anti-sieze is another good idea if they don't have the plastic liner.

It's blood money. That's exactly what I said to the ol lady and kids. I can't wait to retire, hopefully with my pension and 80% paid health benefits and just sit there watching the snow fall, knowing I don't have to mess with it anymore. Not a care in the world of how much snow, or how long it will fall for, I'll get sleep and live a normal life. Since I can't do it now, I'll probably even look into getting a medical card then too. Wooo hooo. Cant wait to live a normal life just like everyone else. Plus with what I do, my phone can ring any second on any day, especially around this time of the year from water mains breaking. Like u said it's good money but theres times it's the last thing in the world u feel like doing.

Got them on ebay. search for item #152836381195

Description is 4P Anti-dust Seat bracket Fixing bolts Cover trims for 2014-2018 TOYOTA Tundra

Wanted to add another point. I offered the seller $17.99 on ebay and he accepted. Not sure how much lower he would go but I figure $2 is $2...well actually its $2.60CDN approximately.

Wow. Ordered the interior LED bulbs from vleds.com plus the license plate lights. Installed all the interior ones tonight. I can truly say its a 'night and day' difference between the stock bulbs and the VLEDs. Right now it almost seems too bright but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Does yours look like this? Near the bottom of mine theres a black rubber ring. Almost looks like a rubber gasket seal like an O ring used in water pipes. Or is yours more of a plastic liner from top to bottom on inside?

I have the same flip key. There is no programming required. At eBay you can find empty flip key for Toyota RAV4. Then just cut a key and replace guts from original to new one. Do not forget the chip from your original.
I paid $1.37 for cut the key at ACE store and $7.00 for key fob. Working perfect. Also I order Toyota logo sticker for back side.

Yes, I work for a municipality I'm on the water/sewer department. So my phone can not only ring when it snows, but literally at any minute. We have designated stand by guys but when theres a major issue like a main break or snow storm it's all hands on deck.

Unfortunately I got in the game late at 35 and only have 5 years in to pension. I made good money before that in sales, even selling yotas for years. I wanted to take a step back and work a somewhat nor.al schedule to spend time with the family. Especially after missing many years of my first sons life.

Least with snow we got an idea of what and when. I plow and salt or run machines for snow storms. However on the water side, especially this time of year my phone could literally ring at any given moment. The job is pretty dangerous too. But I've always been a blue collar guy even when I was in sales working cash on side. Now I'm at least happy working the field I'm in, just took a big pay cut to start with the long haul in mind that when I retire I'll be able to take care of my family and live comfortably when that happens, assuming my body gets me there lol. I'm also assuming since your counting the years at 19 and made the guess that I work there, you do too? Takes 1 to know 1 right?

I'll be 40 right before new year and I worked for another municipality before this 1 for like 3 years. So in total into pension system I only got about 8 years in total. Loooooong way to go yet. The plan now is another 22 to go for me. I plan to retire at 62 but who knows. I could retire before then in my late 50's and still be alright, but to make most of it all I'm thinking 62 is the magic year for me.

I love the work, it's just tough on my body, and my specific department is pretty damn dangerous. I mean just today I got sent to urgent care for taking a large quantity face full of straight pure liquid chlorine getting blasted with high pressure out a pump into my face. Within seconds it took the color right out my hoodie. Those spots on it aren't something that will wash off like cement or mud. These spots are where it burned the color right out it permanently. Got hit in my eye, nose, and mouth. Burned like a MFer like my lips and eye was literally on fire. Not to mention however much I breathed in from there. Dude on my job almost collapsed his lung from a similar mishap.

    20181128_165851.jpg

It's also not uncommon for my sweatshirt to look like that regularly but covered in mud from hydro excavation. Most services and valves we do that way. When it's a main in the road we'll use the backhoe. Then I'm jumping down into the hole with walls carving in on me, rocks, tools, and pavement bouncing off my hard hat, getting sprayed with water in negative temps, standing in mud that sucks your feet into the ground with water up to your hips, turning wrenches with your wet bare hands. Ugh good times lol. There's definitely times I question my sanity that with a 4 yr college degree from a good academic school that I chose this job. I already knew I was pretty crazy growing up, and all would agree, I think it's definitely been confirmed by my career choice by now.

Added rear sway bar. Yes, ride's a little stiffer, but now I feel a lot more comfortable rounding curves at speeds that used to make my butthole pucker:rofl:Plus taking an off-ramp a little faster with my trailer is a lot smoother.

Looks super clean! looking to do the same to mine!

Did you remove the chrome door handles and repaint? or just wrap while on car?

    Thanks

Installed the Phoenix Android 12.1 Fastboot w/ Buttons last night. Love it !!! Sounds so much better and looks sexy. Have had no issues with it. Movies look good on it and just now starting to figure out some features. IMG_20181127_163923.jpg
