Help to see if my truck is lifted

I bought a 2013 crew max trd off road about a month ago. I'm trying to determine if it's leveled/lifted and how much. It has blocks in the rear and front. Does the off road package come with block from the factor? or has that been added. If they are after market, how can I tell how high its been lifted/leveled?

My guess is 2” in the front and 1 1/2” in the rear. The front looks like a 1 inch spacer. Every quarter inch of spacer on top of the spring equals to a half inch of lift. So if it’s a 1” spacer in the front, it will equate to 2 inches of lift. The rear looks like a 1 1/2” block. You get exactly that amount of lift.
You should check the front bump stops and see if they have been extended to make up for that spacer lift. If you don’t extend your front bump stops the shocks will bottom out before the bump stops even hit the A arm.

 

How do you figure 1/4" = 1/2' of lift? Is this new math or what? Definitely not from factory. Dealer maybe. Only factory lifts are on Pros.

 

I knew you were coming back with that. I would like to see an explanation. Until I do it does not make sense.

 

It’s known that coach builder shims are a quarter-inch. And from what everyone has said that those equal to a half inch of lift at the tire when stacked on top of your coilover. So I would only assume a spacer wood work generally the same. Think about it. it’s a lever. The coilovers are in board and the A arm extends out beyond that. A little lift close to the pivot point equates to much more at the tire.

That is a Revtek 2.5” front 1.25” rear lift if I’m not mistaken. The big spacer in the front is an in coil spacer that adds preload to the coil, then there are round spacers on top of the coilover like a traditional spacer lift. Think I have lifted too many Tundras...

 

I purchased a Motofab 2" leveling kit, and I promise that spacer was not 2" thick. It's probably 1-1.5" tops, but it did yield the 2" of lift it advertised.

 

I understand geometry but I know it is not enough of an angle to be a 1:2 ratio.

 

it is a 1:2 ratio. also, the bottom of the coil over is not connected at the very end of the LCA. it is actually connected more inward on the LCA. that makes the ratio higher as well.

 

It is "New Math/Geometry" LOL or "Suspension Math". Don't try to understand it, I don't try.

When you need a lift consult someone who has done it a few times to give you your options. It is proven so we cannot argue.

 

Have you taken your front end apart before? 1:2 is dead nuts spot on.
I triple checked on every adjustment I did and measured correctly from center of axle to fender. This was when fucking around with the stock TRD setup and spacers, and King’s with CB shims.
There’s no use in arguing it until you take some shit apart and find out for yourself.
Then you’ll still not understand, but won’t argue it.
