I've been kicking around the idea of flares. One day I love them one day I hate them. Just curious to see what people are running on here...pros/cons etc

I'm the same way. Some look good, others look dumb. Depends on color and mods and year for me. I wouldn't mind a long travel suspension and big ass fenders like a trophy truck though...

Yea man 2nd that. I just don't wanna gob it up with some ugly ass flares. I hate trucks that have them and the wrong wheel/tire combo or real gaudy looking.

I'm using Stampede, made by Bushwackers. Stampedes aren't as wide as the Bushwackers. Depends on how far your tires stick out, how much coverage you want, and you don't mind rocks and mud in your face if you wheel a lot.

Man, I can't stand flares. Definitely gotta have the right wheel/tire combo, not to mention the right offset. To me if your tire sits less than flush with your flares, it's a no go for me. Looks like a bodybuilder that never heard of leg day.

If your tires stick out too far past the flares, then nothing is gained. If I didn't have my flares last weekend, I'd have a lot of new rock dings and chipped paint. If your truck never sees anything but asphalt then it doesn't really matter. My tire side walls stick out slightly past the flares, maybe a 1/4 " but 100% tread coverage. Perfect.

That's pretty much perfect IMO just can't stand flares with wheels that sit less than flush. Just looks disproportional.

It does look goofy. I've seen full blown Bushwackers on stock trucks. Really goofy looking.

Just saw some 255/65r18 or something close with stock wheels (offset and all) on a tundy running bushwhackers this morning on my way to get doughnuts.

I love Bushwacker fender flares. Actually originally I didn't plan to do too many mods. But I love BW fender flares. So I got wheels/tires to match them. But in order to install them, I need a lift, haha.

I know there's a lot of dislike with glassworks over a recent issue with other LT tundras guys. But I've got the glassworks N-fab fenders and had them wrapped to match the OEM paint. Still the best looking fenders I think, personally.

No, mine are just fender replacements. Didn't want to go through all the hassle that comes along with a single piece. If it was a full blown race truck sure. But it's not that cool yet so stuck with the standard cut, fit bolt on ones.
