So I have made many exterior upgrades and love them. You guys have been a great help with all my decisions I have made. I am still waiting on my automatic running boards to come in. However, now I want to do something I will us for my on a daily basis. I want to change my 2015 SR5 Ac to the Automatic temp control system. How can I do it. Is it easy? Has anyone done it? I look forward to hearing and seeing the posts on this. Thanks.

I've done it on my '11, but I haven't read about anyone doing it on a third generation. I wouldn't call it easy, and it wasn't exactly cheap, but it is nice.

I had to get the panel and the correct ECU, there are some dealer only parts that need to be collected, and you have to be able to change out a wiring harness that's really quite difficult to get to.

I'll dig up the link for the second gen trucks if you're still interested (it's on another forum), but right now I need a nap. lol

A fella replying in this thread to the same question says that it's even more difficult on the third generation trucks than the second generation. http://www.tundratalk.net/forums/tu...2-automatic-climate-controls-2014-2015-a.html

Here's the original thread: I can't find the thread that has the solution for the temperature resetting to 75*F that requires a solenoid and partial wiring harness. But as it appears that this is a lot more work on the third generation, including it would be moot.
