Spyder Install Help

Got a pair of used spyders coming off another Tundra.

Having issues with headlights coming on. After help from @ColoradoTJ and @smslavin I got most stuff on but missing passenger headlight to come on. Everything else works.

When I click on high beams, I hear a clicking sound on the headlight that won’t turn on; any ideas? It flickers on high beam and then shuts off.

If so, please explain like you’re talking to a 6 year old as I know nothing of these things.

I assume you tried another lamp to make sure it’s not just that?

 

Gonna switch ballasts now to see if it could be a bad one. Can’t tell if bulb is bad; assume not since person I bought from had on his.

 

Betting it's the Ballast, those Spyder housings come with aweful HIDs.

 

You know what they say about assuming though ! Hope it works out.

 

I don’t even think mine came with bulbs. Just used everything from the stock lights.
I think I have an Amazon coupon code for some Hikari LEDs. I’ll see if I can find it. I don’t need it.

 

Looks like it’s one of the ballast. The 2 prong one has a false contact looks like
