You can customize alot of it, the front, back and screw colors. Just make sure you double check that your fob fits. He attached pictures of the fob that works. The back of my black fob is all red. And it's just as light as factory, if not lighter.

Also that keysmart in my photo is pretty legit too. I don't like my keys free dangling and making noise. The keysmart is like a Swiss army for your keys. It's cheaper than a key bar and has more accessories.

I'm a big keychain minimalist. These big-ass key fobs drive me crazy. I bought one of these key smart things on a whim from a Cabella's a while back. I thought it was the coolest thing, until about four months later trying to get into my truck, it just burst apart and sent my keys all over a snowy parking lot. I've since learned that, as much as it postures itself as an all-American experience, Cabella's sells a lot of cheap, made-in-China crap. Although I guess buying cheap made-in-China crap pretty much is the American experience these days, but I digress.

Anyway, I ended up taking about 8 inches of mason's string line I had in my truck, and just tying my keys together so I didn't lose anything. I was certain the key edges would tear the line apart and my keys would end up all over the ground again, but I have to say it's been about three years and I love my mason's string line keychain.

Oh weird? Yeah you must have gotten a cheap version. This keysmart is made in the US and made in house. I've had this one for about 2 years with no issues at all. It's a bit fussy putting it together and often times you have to really plan out what key should go where. So you might be assembling a couple times to figure out what's best.

Yeah I'm a lot more careful to research where the things I buy are made these days. I used to order tons of shit off Amazon, but had a few things fail and when I contacted the manufacturer, they were like "oh you bought that on Amazon? Yeah that's not our authorized store, they are selling Chinese knock-offs." Since then, I purchase almost nothing on Amazon, and I'm leery any time I go to Home Depot or a big box store.

But anyway, those keysmart things are a great idea and I'd certainly try one again, but I'd surely order it directly from the company!

They have the regular keysmart, the rugged which is thicker and the pro which has the Tile technology built in. Depends on what you need!
